Job Summary:

Pumpkin is seeking a Customer Success Agent to drive new business opportunities and expand our customer base through proactive prospecting and strategic sales initiatives. As a CS Agent, you will focus on establishing new business, following up on leads through outbound calls and emails, and providing best-in-show service to prospective clients.

Prospective candidates should possess a goal-oriented mindset, concentrating on transforming opportunities into sales while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will prioritize the customer, actively listening to their needs and collaborating to achieve optimal sales outcomes. If you have a passion for animals and a desire to educate humans on the importance of uncompromising care for their pets, this role is for you.

Job Location: Remote - United States

This position is remote, and you will work from a home office. Occasionally, travel to the nearest office may be required for in-person activities such as team meetings, training, and culture-building events. 

Main Responsibilities:     

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline as you complete 20-30 calls per day with a primary focus on closing new business. This will be a mix of inbound and outbound sales calls as well as emails, prioritizing outbound calls to warm leads
  • Provide a best-in-show experience and capitalize on every lead with potential customers, educating them on all aspects of Pumpkin's policy and product offerings in order to consistently complete the sale
  • Analyze customer motivation by gathering information and exploring concerns while handling objections with ease
  • Act as a brand ambassador, establishing and building on positive experiences customers and potential customers have with Pumpkin
  • Actively collaborate with your team to provide the best customer experience
  • Participate in team meetings, elevating ideas around how to close more sales and/or improve the customer experience

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 2 years minimum experience in an outbound sales environment with a proven track record in DTC sales, successful lead generation and new business development
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
  • Roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Existing Property & Casualty Insurance License

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in the insurance or animal health industries.
