About Homeward

Buying a home should be an exciting milestone. But all too often, it’s stressful, especially in a competitive market or when you’re buying and selling at the same time. So we’re redesigning the home-buying experience. We’re a fast-paced real estate startup that empowers agents to help homebuyers buy with cash. We buy homes on behalf of our partners’ clients with our cash, then the client buys the home back from us. 

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl, a 10-year industry veteran and owner of one of the fastest-growing agent teams in the country, started Homeward in 2018. In fact, he bought our first customer’s home with his own life savings. Today we offer two services — Buy with cash and Buy before you sell.

We’ve raised more than $160MM in equity capital from top-tier venture investors, including Norwest, Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, Adams Street, Javelin, and LiveOak. Our leadership team includes experts from the real estate, mortgage, and technology industries.

About the opportunity

Reporting directly to our Chief Revenue Officer building our B2B portion of our business. Broker partnerships are critical to successful growth at Homeward.  Our Field Sales Team is moving quickly to source and develop partnerships with top brokerages to use Homeward’s products. This requires a team of excellent sales people and relationship builders.  Our Field Sales Team is responsible for ensuring a strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders. The Director of Enterprise Sales will lead our Field Sales Team towards our sales KPIs and KPI targets, and drive standardization across the team’s sales processes.

In this role, you will

  • Coach and train Field Sales Team on new sales motion to ensure successful execution of the go-to-market strategy
  • Manage our Field Sales Team, monitoring the sales  funnel and coaching team on owning and successfully managing their pipelines
  • Hold Field Sales Team accountable to attain KPIs by focusing on the top of their funnel and deprioritizing other non-productive tasks
  • Review and respond to any incentive escalations to ensure we are maximizing partner acquisition while staying within budget
  • Identify and overcome obstacles the team may face
  • Manage the recruitment and hiring of Field Sales Reps to support the launch of new markets and partnerships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve successful execution of the GTM approach and find ways to increase pace of agent acquisition
  • Organize events and to engage and activate top influencers/brokerages

What you’ll bring

  • Self-starter attitude and comfort working in ambiguous environments  
  • 5+ years in sales, partnerships or business development
  • 5+ years experience leading sales teams and scaling enterprise and/or partner sales organizations
  • Proven track record and a passion for coaching and developing sales reps 
  • Clear communications style and ability to build relationships and alignment across diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and see the change through 
  • Organized and excellent at prioritizing amongst a sea of requests
  • Detail oriented to ensure clear communications with external stakeholders
  • Bias towards action and results-oriented mindset that prioritizes progress over perfection 
  • Working knowledge of utilizing CRMs, Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degrees at min
