Bold is looking for a talented Mid-Market Sales Manager who is excited to grow their career in the ecommerce space. This person will lead a team of Mid-Market Account Executives and work very closely with the Director of Enterprise Sales on running the day-to-day activities of the sales organization. You and your team will be fundamental to the ongoing success of the company and help grow Bold’s Mid-Market client base by driving the acquisition, retention, and expansion of our ecommerce customer accounts.

What you’ll do

  • Be the operational leader and enabler of our Mid-Market Account Executives
  • Manage, coach, and develop your team of Account Executives, helping them to achieve and surpass their assigned quarterly targets
  • Meet with team members regularly to discuss performance and career progression
  • Work with Director of Enterprise Sales to hire more top talent and continue growing the Sales Team
  • Work closely with the Partners Teams to support collaboration and shared success
  • Continuously evaluate current processes and find opportunities to improve them
  • Continue to drive adoption of new technologies
  • Be data driven and be able to to inspect both leading and lagging indicators
  • Provide strategic input on the business to help us achieve our goals
  • Help grow the Bold culture within the Sales Team and across the organization

What we’re looking for

  • 2-3 years of sales management experience, preferably in tech and/or ecommerce
  • 2-3 years of experience in enterprise sales in tech as an individual contributor with a desire to continue growing in your craft
  • A passion for and understanding of how to manage teams, coach and mentor team members, and hold others accountable
  • A strong leader with a growth-focused mindset
  • Be able to roll your sleeves up and jump on calls with both our current and future customers
  • A leader who is obsessed with winning, but doing it in the right way
  • A strong understanding of ecommerce and experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, commercetools, headless/APIs, or other ecommerce platforms
  • Exceptional track record selling complex SaaS or PaaS solutions to mid-market customers
  • An ability to gather, digest, and communicate data from within Salesforce and various other technologies
  • Experience with building talented teams and hiring and retaining top talent
  • A positive attitude and ability to embrace change and be an advocate for company decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and quickly adapt to changing timelines and priorities
  • Experience with coaching, training, and deploying a new sales methodology
