We are looking to hire a Risk Management Generalist to join our team at Fourth! You will be responsible for providing Tier- 1, Risk Management guidance and support to our clients who use our HR On- Demand services. You will be part of a Risk Management team that strives to be a trusted advisor, while providing guidance through in- depth experience, sound research, compliance and Risk Management Best Practices potentially leading to acquire clients (BOR) Broker of Record relationship to effectively market, procure and service the client’s WC, EPLI and other lines of insurance. 

What You Will Be Doing . . .

  • Assess through consultative service our clients needs and what services are being provided by their broker and insurance company.
  • Provide heavy telephonic risk management guidance for various issues and resolution
  • Utilize a ticketing system to track and respond to client inquires (front- line)
  • Meet demands of Service- Level Agreements (SLA’s) on a day-to- day basis
  • Attend Welcome Calls & Risk Management initial calls for new clients, while fact finding through discovery
  • Interpret, document and provide guidance regarding Risk Management, Workers Compensation Insurance, (EPLI) Employment Practices Liability Insurance and safety regulatory and compliance best practices; to include OSHA, CAL-OSHA among other
  • Document and provide guidance on necessary services needed that are lacking from their existing providers (existing brokers or insurance companies)
  • Advice and offer necessary Risk Management Services as needed as “a la carte” services and coordinate the delivery of such services, contract and billing coordination with appropriate internal departments. To include services such as field risk engineering, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, tribometry and training services
  • Recognize and escalate concerns regarding customers with potential risk and liability
  • Create compliant Safety & Health Programs and facilitating Q & A discussion with the customer while working with other generalists of the product team
  • Create job-hazard analysis on critical high hazard positions; research critical hazards in our client environment; and provide various reports to support RM related processes for customers
  • Assist the client identifying, creating and scheduling customer OSHA / CAL-OSHA compliance training as requested
  • Coordinate the processing of electronic OSHA log reports with other departmental assets as needed by various clients

What You Need to Have . . .

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • FL- 220 or equivalent All Lines Insurance License
  • Technical Degree or Higher
  • Knowledge & experience on insurance agency operations
  • Knowledge & experience in agency management software systems
  • A minimum of 5 years Risk Management/ WC, Insurance agent experience, or RM Consulting experience in a high demand, face paced environment
  • Restaurant and Hospitality operations industry knowledge
  • Microsoft office software – strong Excel skills
