KATBOTZ LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of SAP systems and a passion for designing and implementing custom solutions to meet complex business needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer at KATBOTZ LLC, you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs and interfaces to enhance SAP functionality based on business requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Provide expert guidance on SAP ABAP development standards and best practices.

  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP programs to improve performance and ensure seamless system integration.

  • Mentor and provide technical support to junior ABAP developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-driven environment.

  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and methodologies, including SAP S/4HANA, to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities, including technical specifications and test scripts.

  • Lead and manage project initiatives to deliver solutions on time and within budget.


Required Qualifications


  • A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

  • Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including object-oriented programming, SAP enhancements (BADI, BAPI, User Exits), and Smart Forms.

  • Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, OData, and CDS views.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and their integration points.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP certifications are a plus.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies in SAP environments.

  • Experience with SAP HANA database and performance optimization techniques.

  • Advanced SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Development Professional – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.5 or SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA.

  • Prior experience working in diverse industries, such as manufacturing, finance, or retail, and understanding their specific SAP requirements.

  • Proficiency in other programming languages and technologies, such as JavaScript, Java, or Python, that integrate with SAP systems.
