The Opportunity:
CACI, INC. – FEDERAL has a contract with a federal agency to implement, support, and maintain a mission-critical SAP S/4HANA solution supporting transportation and logistics operations for the Department of Defense. The CACI Team manages Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Financials, Application Development, and Technical Operations, including Security, GRC, and Identity & Access Management—within the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) environment.

CACI is seeking to hire an SAP Integration Suite Senior Developer that will be responsible for the solutions that typically exchange data among SAP instances and external systems that are integral components across the JTMS landscape. The typical interface model embraces Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, building on SAP best practices and the SAP enterprise service architecture. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite and prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM (USTC) transportation operations, systems, or programs. The architect will ensure SAP Integration Suite capabilities align with DoD transportation doctrine, regulatory requirements (DTR, DoD FMR), and Clean Core principles while supporting complex integrations across DoD and commercial transportation ecosystems.
Responsibilities:
The JTMS solution is foundational to the DoD mission, enabling the fielding and sustainment of transportation, logistics, and financial operations.

As the SAP Integration Suite Senior Developer, you will:

  • Build, test, and deploy integrations for data mapping and transformation using CPI, API Management and Event Mesh.

  • Define and implement mapping techniques (Message Mapping, Groovy Scripting, XSLT), Cloud Connector setup, and B2B EDI/TPM Configuration.

  • Using pre-built third-party connectors to simplify integration with non-SAP systems (e.g., Kafka, ServiceNow).

  • Developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents

  • Conducting unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality.

  • Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshooting production issues, and performing root cause analysis (RCA).

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Active Secret clearance

  • 10+ years of SAP experience with SAP Integration Middleware.

  • Strong experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI/Cloud Integration), SAP Integration Advisor, and BTP Architecture.

  • Configure standard and custom adapters (SFTP, REST, SOAP, OData, JDBC, IDoc) and manage message mapping, transformations, and routing.

  • Proficiency in Groovy scripts, XSLT, and implement message mapping (MIG/MAG) to bridge the legacy application mapping into SAP APIs.

  • Deep understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and experience with DoD EDI standards (DTEB preferred).

  • Configure EDI interfaces using TPM Configuration and configure adapters (AS2, SFTP, OData).

  • Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, EDI, and JSON/XML formats.

  • Experience in API Management publishing, securing and monitoring APIs while enforcing security policies (OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS).
