We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing scrum events in any one of the following: GCP cloud foundation build, on-premises to GCP migration, and Vertex AI implementation projects using Jira and Confluence.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage and coordinate cloud foundation building projects, ensuring adherence to best practices in security, scalability, and performance.
- Oversee the migration of on-premises infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Vertex AI solutions for advanced machine learning and AI capabilities.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to track project progress, manage tasks, and document project details.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
- Remove impediments and ensure the team has the resources and support needed to achieve project goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues through DSR, WSR, ESR
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing cloud-related projects.
- Hands-on experience in cloud foundation building, on-premises to GCP migration, and Vertex AI implementation.
- Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Technical Skills Required:
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and IAM.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, particularly Vertex AI.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Preferred Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools like Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience with API management and microservices architecture.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 45,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 158,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
