About Us: We are a leading technology solutions provider, committed to delivering innovative and scalable cloud solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing scrum events in any one of the following: GCP cloud foundation build, on-premises to GCP migration, and Vertex AI implementation projects using Jira and Confluence.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage and coordinate cloud foundation building projects, ensuring adherence to best practices in security, scalability, and performance.
  • Oversee the migration of on-premises infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Vertex AI solutions for advanced machine learning and AI capabilities.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence to track project progress, manage tasks, and document project details.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Remove impediments and ensure the team has the resources and support needed to achieve project goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues through DSR, WSR, ESR

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record of managing cloud-related projects.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud foundation building, on-premises to GCP migration, and Vertex AI implementation.
  • Proficiency in using Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and IAM.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, particularly Vertex AI.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts and tools like Dataflow, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub.
  • Experience with API management and microservices architecture.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 64,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 224,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
