About the role
We’re looking for a proven leader to build, coach, and scale a high-performing sales development team. You’ll work with our Director of Revenue Growth to drive outbound prospecting strategy, partner closely with marketing on account-based programs, and ensure predictable pipeline generation from inbound and outbound efforts. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll develop best practices, refine messaging, and deliver measurable impact alongside our sales leadership team.
What you’ll do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives.
Drive the outbound prospecting strategy and execution to generate qualified opportunities.
Partner with Marketing on account-based programs to penetrate key accounts.
Define and communicate customer pain points and use cases to improve conversion rates.
Ensure predictable pipeline generation from inbound and outbound prospecting activities.
Establish, refine, and scale SDR best practices, including pitches and objection handling.
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing to build an industry-leading demand engine.
Accurately capture and maintain prospect data in Salesforce.
Track and report on team performance using KPIs; provide insights to sales leadership.
Represent the business development organization as part of the sales leadership team.
Perform all core management responsibilities: coaching, planning, reporting, and forecasting.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly SDR team goals.
Who you are
Experience: 2+ years leading and managing high-performing business development or sales development teams in a hypergrowth B2B SaaS environment (cybersecurity experience a strong plus).
Prospecting Expertise: Deep experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
Tools & Systems: Proficient in Salesforce, Outreach, Orum, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Google Workspace; experience with dialers and marketing automation platforms.
Performance: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding both individual and team goals.
Data-Driven: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a test-and-learn mindset for decision-making.
Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills to coach, develop, and motivate SDRs.
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office per week)
