Description:

This team is responsible for providing program management expertise on large, significant conversions. This role supports the dedicated program manager, responsible for managing all client implementation activity by coordinating all activities of the transition process.  This role will interface closely with various Product, Sales, Product Development, Operations, Client Service and Technology teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and negotiation of project timelines associated with the on-boarding of large, highly complex deals that span multiple products and functional areas
  • Work within a virtual team environment spanning across Core Product, Operations, Product Development and Technology teams 
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of existing product capabilities
  • Support an understanding of the client’s business model – ensure client business requirements are understood and partner with product, operations, technology and functional teams to ensure workflows and requirements are designed and documented
  • Understand deal flows and work closely with the implementation team to ensure all milestones are met
  • Manage overall program risks and issues process, including the ability to coordinate and facilitate timely resolution of complex issues with multiple stakeholders and cross functional groups
  • Own and manage various program related reporting materials to facilitate both on-going project management responsibilities, and key program status updates to a multitude of stakeholder groups
  • Coordinate and facilitate program governance forums required to effectively manage multiple workstreams, including technology, client service, and functional and operational teams across JPMC, vendors, and clients

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Influence – Work effectively with colleagues around the world, both those directly engaged in the client transition and those whose primary focus is product-oriented to ensure deliverables are met and issues resolved despite competing priorities and individual focus
  • Communications – Effectively present to large and small groups, both internally and externally, at all levels.  Persuasive, polished, and excellent listening skills are required. Constant client engagement necessitates the ability to come across as well organized and to instantly adjust deliverables based on information received.
  • People and Relationship Management – Ability to communicate effectively through a variety of mechanisms and a desire to share information broadly; exhibit integrity, intelligence and problem solving skills
  • Industry/Product Knowledge – Demonstrate understanding of our products and capabilities 
  • Experience/Education – strong analytical skills; communication and influence skills
  • Minimum three years project management and hands on product management, operational or technology experience

  • Technical: proficient in Microsoft Office
