What You Could Work On
Depending on your background and future opportunities within the team, you may contribute to areas such as:
- Assessing and monitoring cybersecurity risks across Lennar's technology environment.
- Supporting governance, risk, and compliance initiatives and helping align security practices with industry standards and business objectives.
- Reviewing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing results, audit findings, and other security assessments to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Tracking and supporting remediation efforts, including plans of action and milestones.
- Evaluating third-party vendors and business partners to help identify and mitigate security risks.
- Supporting business continuity, disaster recovery, and security preparedness initiatives.
- Partnering with technology and business teams to understand priorities, identify risks, and develop practical security solutions.
- Preparing risk assessments, security findings, and recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
- Contributing to security awareness and education initiatives across the organization.
- Staying current on emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry practices.
- Collaborating with security and technology professionals to continuously strengthen Lennar's cybersecurity capabilities.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in connecting with cybersecurity professionals across a range of experience levels and specialties who bring:
- Experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk, GRC, vulnerability management, security assessments, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and a continuous-learning mindset, particularly around evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies.
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, solving problems, and improving security practices.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with frameworks, standards, or regulations such as NIST, ISO, SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, or GLBA is a plus. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, GSEC, or similar credentials are also valued but are not required for every opportunity.
