Job Overview
Omni Advertising is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented SEM Specialist to support paid search efforts across a growing portfolio of automotive dealerships nationwide.

This role is ideal for someone early in their digital marketing career who is passionate about Google Ads, analytics, and performance marketing. The SEM Specialist I will assist in building, managing, optimizing, and reporting on paid search campaigns designed to drive vehicle sales, service appointments, lead generation, and overall dealership growth.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, eager to learn, and excited to work in a fast-paced agency environment where continuous optimization and measurable results are the focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building, managing, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Video, Vehicle Listing Ads) across multiple dealership locations
  • Support monthly specials and promotions with timely ad copy updates and campaign adjustments
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis specific to vehicle models, leasing offers, service specials, and dealership branding
  • Monitor campaign performance, track conversions (form fills, calls, chats), and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with dealership marketing teams to align messaging and landing pages with inventory and local offers
  • Help manage campaign budgets to ensure efficient spending and performance
  • Generate monthly performance reports and insights using Google Ads, Analytics, and dealership CRM data
  • Assist with account audits and proactive optimization reviews
  • Help identify budget expansion opportunities and performance improvements
  • Support campaign launches, dealership onboarding, and account maintenance
  • Participate in internal strategy discussions and performance reviews
  • Assist with dealer-facing recommendations and campaign insights as needed
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive marketing trends, seasonal opportunities, and Google Ads features

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, SEM, or automotive advertising
  • Experience with building and managing Google Ads campaigns, with foundational knowledge of paid search strategy
  • Strong interest in automotive marketing and local lead generation
  • Analytical mindset with attention to campaign data and trends
  • Experience with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to meet fast-moving deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Ads Certification
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager
  • Automotive marketing experience
  • Understanding of dealership operations and automotive advertising
