Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.

Position Summary

We’re launching a company-wide AI Transformation to embed artificial intelligence and automation into how we operate, innovate, and deliver value, across every function of the business. In this role, you will be a catalyst for that transformation. You’ll partner directly with business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities, design and deploy AI-driven solutions, and drive adoption that delivers measurable results. This position combines technical engineering insight, strategic business analysis, and change leadership to accelerate AI-powered performance and productivity at scale.

Process Discovery & Analysis

  • Partner with departmental leaders and subject-matter experts to map current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and manual pain-points.

  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, process logs, system data) to prioritize opportunities where AI and automation can deliver meaningful value.

  • Translate business challenges into clear technical requirements and design.

AI Workflow Development & Operationalization

  • Architect and implement end-to-end AI-enabled workflows, integrating internal and third-party systems (ERP, CRM, ticketing systems, etc.).

  • Rapidly prototype, validate, iterate, and deploy production workflows with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Establish observability and telemetry around usage, performance, drift, cost, and incident metrics.

  • Define and apply governance, compliance, and “human-in-the-loop” guardrails to ensure responsible AI operation (data privacy, audit trails, rollback capability).

  • Create and maintain documentation and change-control processes.

Adoption, Evangelism & Change Management

  • Present deployed workflows to business stakeholders, conduct training sessions, gather feedback, and refine solutions accordingly.

  • Serve as an internal champion and educator for AI adoption; drive awareness, build trust, address concerns, and enable non-technical users to leverage new tools.

  • Work with leadership to establish best practices, standards, internal playbooks, and governance frameworks for AI workflows across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong proficiency in languages such as Python, C#, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience in building automation pipelines or AI-enabled systems that integrate multiple data sources or services.

  • Solid understanding of APIs, event/data pipelines, orchestration, and system integration patterns.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, analyze business processes, and deliver solutions with measurable business value.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; comfortable translating technical concepts into business outcomes.

  • Self-directed project ownership from discovery through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integration, embeddings, agent frameworks, or workflow orchestration.

  • Experience deploying or operating self-hosted models or private-cloud AI infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices.

  • Prior experience in process automation, digital transformation, or enterprise workflow improvement projects.
