The Role:Apryse is seeking a Senior Analyst - Commissions, to join our growing Sales and Marketing Analytics team. You will own the commissions administration for all variable compensation roles, play a key role in the planning & processing of commissions, and help with preparation of periodic reporting to the ELT and Board. In addition, you will be a key player in the analysis of sales data, providing sales performance insights and supporting the day-to-day decision making of the Sales Leadership Team. You will also help with forecasting and budgeting, provide ad-hoc analysis of sales activity to support tracking of OKRs for the sales team. You will leverage your prior experience with SFDC and commission administration tools such as Xactly to drive efficiency and improve processes as our reporting requirements and capabilities increase. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly & quarterly commission calculations and own the administration of commission plans for all functions on variable compensation across the organization.
  • Oversee the accuracy of crediting reports and calculation of commission payouts for all payees.
  • Oversee the resolution of discrepancies with various stakeholders. Lead analysis of discrepancies to determine key drivers and recommend programs/adjustments to address. 
  • Ensure the overall payroll schedule is adhered to so that reps are paid in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Develop and maintain effective policies and procedures for commission administration and processes.
  • Own development of the commissions budget based on the plans in effect and partner with the finance team on accurately forecasting commissions expense. 
  • Perform ongoing analysis of business operations to identify opportunities for improvement and help drive data-driven strategic decision making.
  • Develop accurate reporting and insights into sales performance
  • Identify ways to improve key sales processes to ensure efficiency and high performance across teams that scale over time.
  • Utilizing creative problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills to connect the dots and find the insight buried in the data.
  • Provide various levels of Ad Hoc business and sales analysis. 


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Commissions preferably at an enterprise SaaS/software company 
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Salesforce reporting and dashboards
  • Experience in building and maintaining logic in Xactly as well as overall management of the tool 
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Must be intellectually curious, strategic, and thrive on diving into complex problems
  • Have a strong work ethic, and an ability to operate under tight deadlines
  • Experience transforming data into actionable items
  • Able to build strong, trust-based relationships with partners at all seniority levels inside the organization 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in using data to tell a story while interacting with and presenting to senior leadership 
  • Strong analytical skills (e.g. modeling, statistics, financial analysis, reporting, etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills. VBA programming experience a plus

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $75,000.00-$120,000.00 USD in on target earnings.
