Join one of the fastest growing, most dynamic companies in the furniture industry. For over 25 years, Four Hands has been a leading designer and wholesaler of furniture and décor, helping people create spaces that feel like home.

Recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies and named one of Austin’s Top Workplaces year after year. We invest in exceptional people — with a team of over 800 and growing — fostering our employees’ careers and celebrating them at every step of the way. Four Hands is where passion meets purpose and where your next chapter begins.

The Senior Analyst will translate complex planning questions and business strategies into quantitative models, data requirements, analytical logic, and technical solutions. Depending on the nature of the solution, the role may develop these capabilities directly or partner with data engineering, application development, BI, and other IT resources to deliver them.

The work will directly influence decisions around demand, inventory investment, purchasing, product lifecycle, service levels, working capital, and supply risk. The analytical tools and models developed in this role will be used by planners and leadership to make faster, more informed decisions and to progressively automate repeatable planning processes.

This role also has significant opportunity to shape the future state of planning analytics at Four Hands. As the organization expands its forecasting, inventory optimization, and planning capabilities, the Senior Analyst will help establish the methodologies, data foundations, measurement standards, and analytical architecture that support that evolution.

In This Role

  • Design and build forecasting tools that translate demand signals, product lifecycle data and supply constraints into actionable planning outputs for the supply chain team
  • Develop scenario planning applications that allow planners to model supply and inventory outcomes across a range of demand, lead time and lifecycle assumptions
  • Interpret product lifecycle complexity — new introductions, discontinuations, seasonal curves, transitions — and identify where those processes create gaps in current planning coverage
  • Build analytical frameworks and data models to fill those gaps, surfacing insights that the reengineered MRP process cannot yet produce on its own
  • Partner with the supply chain planning team to understand how decisions get made today, where the friction is, and what tools would create the most leverage
  • Support the broader MRP/planning reengineering effort by contributing analytical rigor — requirements documentation, data validation, process mapping and testing support
  • Demand Forecasting & Measurement - Develop and continuously improve forecasting methodologies (statistical, ML/AI, ensemble, lifecycle, new-product). Establish comprehensive measurement frameworks including back-testing, plan-vs-actual analysis, error diagnostics, and model performance monitoring
  • Inventory, Supply & Scenario Analytics - Build inventory and supply simulations modeling movement across the planning horizon. Develop optimization models for replenishment, purchasing, and supply allocation, including position visibility, shortage/excess, etc. Create scenario-planning tools that surface financial and operational implications of alternative assumptions before decisions are made
  • Planning Data Foundation & Automation- Develop and maintain the data structures and analytical datasets required for planning processes. Build structured data capabilities for currently manual activities (scrap, balancing, overrides, exceptions). Automate repeatable planning tasks to free planners for higher-judgment work
  • Cross-Functional Analytical Delivery - Translate planning concepts and business rules into technical and analytical requirements. Partner with data engineering, BI, and IT to operationalize models, pipelines, and applications. Support MRP reengineering through requirements definition, data validation, and implementation
  • Financial & Lifecycle Analytics - Develop financial analytics tied to planning decisions, such as inventory investment, working capital, margin, cost-to-serve, excess/obsolete exposure. Build frameworks for product lifecycle management across introductions, transitions, seasonality, and end-of-life
  • Strategic Influence & Communication - Shape the future state of planning analytics at Four Hands, establishing methodologies, data foundations, and analytical architecture. Deliver executive-level analysis and recommendations. Continuously identify opportunities where ML, AI, optimization, or automation can improve planning performance
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications
  • Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team
    • Be open and honest
    • Reach for excellence
    • Act with responsibility
    • Value the whole person
    • Enjoy the journey

The Ideal Person

  • 4+ years in supply chain analytics, planning operations or a data-focused role within a supply chain or operations environment
  • Demonstrated experience building analytical tools — forecasting models, scenario planners, dashboards — not just producing reports
  • Strong SQL skills; comfort writing complex queries to extract, join and transform data from enterprise systems
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory concepts — MRP logic, product lifecycle management, demand planning, safety stock, lead times
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and translate loosely defined business problems into structured analytical solutions
  • Strong communication skills — comfortable presenting complex findings to supply chain
