What You Do
We’re looking for full stack engineers who are passionate about application development, modernizing legacy software, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps technology, and who want to help organizations and engineering teams improve quality and speed of delivery.
We each bring varying degrees of knowledge to the table. You will have extensive experience in most of the below areas but not necessarily all of them. This is not a comprehensive list; there may be other equally valuable skills and experience you bring that are not listed here.
Client Delivery
- Uplift engineers, both client's and Liatrio teammates
- Ensure account leader or architect is up to date on any concerns or changes to work, as well as reaching out for guidance or feedback on strategy and approach
- Able to adapt quickly to change and shift focus as required to meet customer needs
- Mentor junior team members, including pairing sessions, providing feedback, guiding technical growth
- Provide feedback to account leader or architect on overall team performance and areas for growth
Tools and Technologies
As an engineer, we expect you’ll have significant experience with many of the tools and technologies we frequently use with our clients. While we know it's impossible to be an expert on all the tools available, for this Senior Engineer position we expect you to have in-depth skill in one or more areas, communicate with client and Liatrio stakeholders, be able to perform advanced tasks in many of the below areas independently, and able to upskill client and colleague engineers.
- Experience building completely new applications, as well as modernization of existing legacy applications
- Fluent in multiple programming languages, including FP and OOP, and databases
- Extensive experience creating frontend web applications,
backend API services, cloud-hosted applications, and full stack standalone solutions
- Experience navigating enterprise environments, distributed systems, and large/multi-cloud environments
- Comfortable with end-to-end software delivery, able to review code and emphasizing with developers and engineers across the SDLC
- Comfortable with cloud-native architecture, source control management systems and branching strategies, and automation
- First-hand experience building or knowledge from being embedded within Operations teams responsible for: containerization, infrastructure as code, platform engineering, data center architecture, systems architecture, observability, and DevOps practices
- Experience with modern patterns, practices, and best practices like Agile, TDD, BDD, and DDD
Requirements
- Employment eligibility: must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.
- Travel availability: we divide our time between working remotely and visiting our client sites located throughout the U.S. For most roles, travel typically ranges from 10-50%, depending on client need.
Specifics
- Full benefits including unlimited PTO, funded HSA option, 401k match, monthly LiveWell stipend, and quarterly company bonus
- Annual base salary: $120,000-$170,000, depending on experience
