JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

The Product Strategy & Management team drives product direction and development across Astro's consumer platforms and services. Spanning core products such as Astro U-Boxes, Streaming Apps and others. The team oversees products from the Astro PayTV, Astro Fibre and Enterprise businesses. We're looking for a Senior Associate to own product workstreams end to end — from strategy and research through execution and launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of product strategies across Astro's consumer product portfolio, from problem framing through launch
  • Gather customer, market, and business insights to identify opportunities for product enhancement and growth
  • Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and support the end-to-end delivery process
  • Monitor product performance, analyse key metrics, and recommend improvements to drive customer engagement and business outcomes
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and industry research to support strategic decision-making and roadmap planning
  • Prepare business cases, performance reports, and management presentations for key stakeholders
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution, including launch readiness, stakeholder alignment, customer communications, and performance tracking
  • Coordinate and support UAT and Beta testings, ensuring business requirements are met and customer experiences are validated prior to release.
  • Support product launches, feature rollouts, and continuous optimisation initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional teams including but not exclusive to: Technology, CX, Content, Marketing, and Operations to deliver product initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6 years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, or a related function — media, telco, or tech preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field
  • Passionate about consumer technology and products
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Sharp written and visual communication
  • Experience with, or strong aptitude for, data-informed decision making (metrics, research, testing)
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and delivering customer-facing products
  • High attention to detail
  • Comfortable owning a workstream independently while staying aligned to broader team strategy
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working, UAT processes, and product launch/GTM activities
  • Experience in digital products, media, telco, streaming, or subscription-based businesses is an advantage
