You will drive the optimization of Procore’s OTR value stream by identifying and implementing vendor-provided AI innovations within our tech stack (Zuora Billing & Revenue, Stripe, Avalara). You will use AI as a core accelerator within the SDLC to move from requirements gathering to production faster than ever.

This position will report to our Director, Finance & Legal Systems, and can be based out of Austin, TX. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What You’ll Do:

  • At Procore, AI isn’t a specialized tool, it's a core competency. We expect every team member to be AI-literate, leveraging generative tools and agentic workflows to move faster and work smarter. You won’t just use AI; you’ll be building the agentic future of construction.

  • Facilitate system upgrades, communication regarding system stability and improvements, and maintaining updated documentation on the business systems

  • Manage and monitor integrations between systems and contribute to larger integration initiatives, as well as leading cross-functional implementation efforts

  • Serve as a technical advisor for Financial Systems, leading recommendations for new systems and updates to platform architecture that increase the efficiency and reliability of our Financial Systems, ensuring alignment with Revenue, Legal, and Finance needs, corporate objectives, and IT standards

  • SDLC Acceleration: Utilize AI tools to automate the synthesis of complex business requirements into high-quality Jira user stories and comprehensive acceptance criteria.

  • SaaS AI Advocacy: Evaluate and propose the implementation of new AI capabilities released by our vendors (e.g., Zuora AI, Stripe AI) to improve OTR accuracy and revenue forecasting.

  • Set expectations around technical feasibility of requested features and functionality, and partner to provide training and technical support as needed

  • Drive continuous improvement of quote-to-cash tech stack by identifying and remediating tech debt and recommending feature enhancements with consideration for business goals and ROI

  • Own technical systems documentation and communication about tool maintenance, upgrades, stability, and security

  • Partner with IT Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance teams to drive stability, reliability, and compliance of quote-to-cash systems

  • Drive efficient and effective change management and quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to enterprise security and compliance standards

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years of experience working with order-to-revenue systems (Zuora Billing and Revenue, CPQ, Salesforce, NetSuite, Avalara, Payment Gateway, such as Stripe), including hands-on implementation and deployment efforts across multi-dimensional teams

  • BS degree is preferred; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus

  • Experience with order-to-revenue business processes with subscription deal structure and understanding of ASC606 accounting principles

  • AI-Enhanced Analysis: Experience using Generative AI to perform deep-dive discovery, process mapping, and "what-if" impact analysis for downstream financial systems.

  • Innovation Mindset: A passion for researching industry benchmarks in AI-driven automation to reduce manual touches in the quote-to-cash process.

  • Experience in an operational/systems administration role supporting the implementation of technology solutions with responsibility for requirements gathering, performing assessments, and presenting solutions to maintain system health and efficiency

  • Deep passion in researching for standard methodologies, industry benchmarking, bringing in productivity/automation, and efficiency

  • Ability to develop strong partnerships with business stakeholders across a wide variety of operational and technical disciplines and levels with a supportive and customer-focused personality

  • Ability to consider end-to-end process dependencies and advise on downstream effects of changes

  • Strong experience with integration work involving API and integration endpoints with middleware tool - should be speaking integration developer language and engaging in solutioning

  • Experience with structured data, data management, data governance, and ensuring data quality within enterprise applications

  • Experience with in-house and 3rd party implementation and ongoing maintenance of SaaS solutions

  • Experience working with a ticket/task tracking system (e.g., JIRA) and working in an agile environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner
