POSITION OVERVIEW
The purpose of the Senior Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) is to assist the Sales organization and business development team with product demonstrations, sales training and the design and development of clinical workflow solutions for our customers. The primary role of the CSS is to become the clinical expert and demonstrate all aspects of the product, including connectivity for our partners as well as help to drive channel partner sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become knowledgeable in demonstration of the products from a clinical and sales perspective
- Understand existing product workflows in the field and work closely to manage workflow and upgrades with partners
- Responsible for educating partners and CMI employees on products, integration advantages, utilization, key advantages, and competitors
- Help to drive sales through the channel partners with direct support and product knowledge
- Demonstrate a full grasp of the positioning of our products and services as well as the ability to relay this messaging with confidence to the customers
- Provide feedback and structure to sales demo process for assigned product lines
- Ability to drive successful closure or enterprise transfers of sales engagements
- Establish and maintain knowledge of competitors and be able to articulate the strengths of CMIs’ strategy and product/service offerings in response to competitive comparisons
- Learn and be able to speak to company relationships and integrations
- Be able to perform webinars for sales presentations
- Become knowledgeable on the pricing and pricing strategies of products offered
- Track all sales demonstrations and measure effectiveness
- Communicate with management on the status and quality of sales demonstrations
- Act as a resource to Sales and Marketing team
- Keeps current on new technology through the use of Trade Magazines and Tradeshow
- Ability to maintain knowledge of emerging trends in the clinical healthcare information market and stay knowledgable on areas of expertise
- Must be able to attend training seminars and conferences
- Provides accurate and timely information to sales along with responding to sales needs
- Shares prompt, reliable and complete information to others who need it
- Attends or is responsible for information given at meetings and through our organizational channels
- Maintains patient and appropriate organizational confidentially
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Associates Degree or Radiology Technologist Certification (Bachelors Degree preferred)
- 5+ years of customer facing experience in sales, support, education, implementation or previous experience in an enterprise sales environment
- Clinical experience in CT, MR and/or Cardiology
- Thorough background in 3D anatomy/pathology
- Ability to travel up to 80%, including international, to fulfill business needs
- Ability to accommodate travel requests for customer site visits with short notice

COMPENSATION
$100,240 - $150,360 /year base salary, dependent on experience

Our compensation philosophy is designed to ensure fair and equitable pay practices that are both market‑competitive and internally consistent. Salary ranges are established using external market data and are intended to reflect the full scope of experience, skills, and proficiency levels associated with the role.
As part of our standard hiring practice, we aim extend offers at or near the midpoint of the range for candidates who are fully qualified and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and experience required to perform the role independently and effectively. Final compensation decisions may vary based on individual qualifications, experience, and other job‑related factors, while remaining within the established range.
