Summary Description

The Granicus Experience Group (GXG) is Granicus’ in-house digital agency, comprised of senior consultants, strategists, analysts, and technology experts who partner with government and destination organizations to improve digital experiences and communications. GXG applies human-centered practices, data-driven insights, and proven delivery approaches to help customers achieve meaningful, measurable outcomes.

The Senior Consultant, Enterprise Growth & Activation, is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading presales discovery, solution shaping, and scope design for complex and strategic GXG engagements. This role serves as a trusted presales adviser to Sales, Solutions Engineering, and GXG delivery leadership—owning early-stage solution design, facilitating high-impact workshops, guiding proposal strategy, and ensuring scoped work aligns to customer outcomes and delivery feasibility.

Essential Function

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Lead presales discovery engagements, stakeholder interviews, and workshops for complex opportunities.
  • Translate customer objectives and constraints into outcome-oriented service strategies and scalable delivery approaches.
  • Own development of statements of work (SOWs), including scope definition, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
  • Partner with Sales on pricing strategy, scope tradeoffs, and value articulation to support competitive, delivery-ready proposals.
  • Design and facilitate executive-level workshops and presales sessions; present recommendations confidently to senior customer stakeholders.
  • Establish credibility as a trusted GXG adviser early in the sales cycle through structured facilitation and clear solution direction.
  • Mentor and coach presales and delivery consultants; shape and evolve presales methodologies, playbooks, and templates.
  • Provide thought leadership that informs future GXG offerings and strengthens consistency across presales approaches.

Experience/Credentials:

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or digital agencies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in presales, solution design, or services commercialization.
  • Advanced experience facilitating executive workshops and complex discovery engagements.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously with sound judgment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with government, public sector, or destination organizations preferred.

This role requires up to 30% travel to customer sites and internal meetings as needed to support presales discovery, strategic workshops, relationship development, and solution shaping.
