About the Role:

We’re looking for a Sr. Creative Strategist to join our growing team. This role is designed for a strategic contributor who can apply our research-backed frameworks and testing methodology to scale winning creative. You are both analytically rigorous and creatively decisive—able to diagnose performance patterns, extract the underlying consumer insight, and translate those learnings into structured, repeatable creative systems.

As a Sr. Creative Strategist, you don’t just identify what worked, you define why it worked and build the roadmap to amplify it. You’ll own the application of our creative testing process across performance channels, ensuring every concept is rooted in insight, aligned to funnel objectives, and built to scale. You will drive intentional creative diversification by developing varied formats, hooks, and messaging angles that maximize auction efficiency and unlock sustained performance.

You will partner closely with Growth Marketing, Production, client stakeholders, and creators to operationalize strategy, mapping content needs, guiding concept development, and driving disciplined testing. You bring clarity to ambiguity, elevate creative thinking with data, and ensure that every ad launched reflects both strong brand alignment and measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ad Planning: Translate seasonal brand priorities and product focus areas into a strategic, full-funnel ad roadmap that aligns creative with business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze paid media performance to identify winning and losing creative patterns, distill the visual and messaging themes driving scale, and convert insights into clear, actionable recommendations for the client.
  • Client Leadership & Communication: Lead client-facing strategy by developing clear, compelling decks and presenting performance insights, creative frameworks, and testing roadmaps with authority. Optimize client workflows to ensure alignment, efficiency, and strong adoption of strategic recommendations.
  • Ad Concepting: Apply performance insights to develop forward-looking creative strategies and content roadmaps. Concept new ad ideas, formats, and visual directions that drive creative diversification, expand reach, and unlock incremental growth. Create a roadmap of content needs to feed your creative strategy, and partner with your client contacts to get buy in and timely delivery
  • Creative Research: Continuously monitor trends, formats, and messaging shifts to inform innovative, performance-driven creative strategies.
  • Creative Testing: Partner with Growth to design structured creative tests—defining hypotheses, success metrics, and learning agendas that inform future concept development.
  • UGC Briefing: Identify and cast the right UGC talent and develop clear, strategic briefs outlining messaging priorities, hooks, and content requirements.
  • Execution & Ownership: Drive follow-through on creative strategies, ensuring visibility into performance, learnings, and iterative next steps while demonstrating return on content.
  • Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between Growth, Production, and Client teams—translating data into executable creative direction.
  • Channel Breadth: Apply creative learnings across Meta, TikTok, Google, and CTV, developing fluency in platform best practices and emerging trends.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in performance marketing, creative strategy, public relations, marketing or related role.
  • Impeccable attention to detail with strong follow through and execution; flawless grammar and spelling
  • Positive attitude, collaborative and hard working. You’re joining a high performing team who shares the wins and celebrates together.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • A curious, performance-driven mindset—hungry for wins, driven by growth.
  • An eye for design and storytelling, with a pulse on creative trends in fashion and beauty. Graphic design background a plus.
  • Strong written communication and briefing skills—able to clearly state test objectives and give direction to creative partners.
  • Organized and proactive, with experience managing trackers and ensuring deliverables move on schedule.
  • Eager to learn channel best practices across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, and CTV

Why Join Chief Detective?

  • Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your insights directly drive performance
  • Remote-first flexibility with a culture that values curiosity, growth, and attention to detail
