Prepares financial statement and tax return spreads, monitors loan credit risk, underwrites consumer and small commercial loans, evaluates repayment capacity and financial ratios, researches borrower industries and markets, identifies policy exceptions and repayment risks, orders residential appraisals, and documents credit assessments while ensuring regulatory compliance.

* Monitor the ongoing credit risk of existing loans through systematic reviews of financial statements and testing compliance with loan convenants
* Analyze and underwrite consumer loan requests as needed
* Order appraisals of residential property
* Analyze the financial data presented, including the level and trend of pertinent ratios, including global debt service capacity
* Identify exceptions to lending policies and underwriting guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
* Research borrower industry and market conditions
* Identify borrowing causes, sources of repayment, risks to repayment, and suggest enhancements to mitigate credit risk
* Prepare written assessment documenting the strengths and weaknesses of small, non-complex commercial credit requests
* Assist with special projects and performs other duties as assigned
