The Role

Atomic is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to own and manage high-impact data products across a dynamically expanding suite of offerings. You'll be responsible for both external and internal analytics, managing data products and insights that serve our customers and partners as well as internal teams across product, marketing, engineering, and leadership.

This role rewards strong SQL and data modeling skills, analytical rigor, and the judgment to know which questions are worth answering. As Atomic's product suite expands, you'll keep these data products accurate, reliable, and relevant while owning large, ambiguous projects end to end. You'll translate complex findings into recommendations leadership can act on and help set the standard for the analytics team.

What You'll Do
  • Own large, ambiguous data and analytics projects end to end, from scoping through delivery, with a high degree of independence.

  • Own and manage data products for both external and internal stakeholders.

  • Write advanced SQL to transform data, and improve the reliability and performance of the datasets and data products the team depends on.

  • Keep data products accurate and relevant as Atomic's suite of offerings evolves, updating logic and definitions when source data, schema, or products change.

  • Turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders and leadership, including root-cause investigation when metrics move unexpectedly.

  • Ensure data has a seat at the table during cross-functional initiatives with product, marketing, engineering, and leadership.

  • Mentor junior analysts by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and helping level up the team's technical and analytical skills.

About You
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, analytics, business analysis, or reporting, including a track record of independently owning projects end to end.

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregation, window functions, and querying and shaping large structured datasets.

  • Experience managing production SQL/database objects through Git/GitHub, including pull requests, peer review, testing, and CI/CD workflows.

  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining near real-time data products in tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Mode, or Databricks.

  • A drive to solve hard problems, not just detect them, with the rigor to validate your own work before it ships.

Compensation

Benefits And Perks

  • Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

  • Equity through stock options.

  • Remote-first workplace.

  • Unlimited PTO, 10 company-paid holidays, and office closure between Christmas and New Year.

  • Continuing education.

  • Paid parental leave.
