Senior Database Administration Analyst 

About the Role

The Senior Database Administrator Analyst will perform physical and logical database administration functions as required for Application to Sustain Services. 

Responsibilities 

• Supporting Database Administration for business-critical applications in Single/Multitenant Architecture
• Administrating Oracle Databases on different operating systems including but not limited to: Linux and Windows
• Installing/Upgrading and Configuring Oracle Server 12c/19c/21c on multi node systems to meet Availability SLAs
• Configuring and maintaining Oracle Cloud Control
• Implementing backup strategy to meet SLAs
• Having the ability to implement Security Best Practices to meet compliance requirements
• Developing and supporting database maintenance scripts
• Developing and maintaining database design and support documentation
• Having the ability to configure Oracle HA options, including ADG, FSFO and GoldenGate
• Providing 24x7 on-call support

Requirements 

• Have 8+ years’ experience in Oracle Database Administration of 12c/19c/21c Oracle 12c Grid Control, GoldenGate
• Have working experience with Linux operating system
• Have working experience with Oracle GI & RAC administration
• Have solid Unix scripting experience using BASH/Python
• Have ability to work with a team, be a problem solver as well as communicator

Preferred Skills

• Have experience with Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture
• Have ability to install, configure and maintain GoldenGate replication in single and bi-directional
• Have Database Administrator experience with PostgreSQL
• Have exposure to Oracle Implementation in Cloud (Axure/OCI/ExaC@C)

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience. Each year of relative work experience may be substituted for a year of college education, up to two years.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $85,470 - $111,000.
