PACSystems is trusted by leading companies across discrete and hybrid manufacturing industries to safely and reliably control critical processes. In this role, you will be the engine behind the development pipeline — designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and tooling that allow our engineering teams to deliver high-quality industrial software with speed and confidence.

Our team embraces modern development practices, including AI-assisted and spec-driven development methodologies. You will play a central role in enabling those practices at scale. Building the pipelines, environments, and automation that make them possible. You will be part of an organization led by leaders who are deeply committed to technical excellence, Agile principles, and building an environment where engineers do their best work. If you are looking for a role that is technically challenging, forward-thinking, and built to have lasting real-world impact, we want to hear from you.

As Senior DevOps Engineer, You Will:

  • Collaborate - Champion a creative atmosphere, review and provide detailed feedback on peers' pipeline and infrastructure designs, and actively participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning and retrospectives. Engage in Hackathons, Tech Talks, and Communities of Practice with like-minded engineers.
  • Build and Own the Pipeline - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support automated build, test, and deployment workflows across the PACSystems software portfolio, including client applications and real-time system components.
  • Enable AI-Assisted Development - Partner with development teams to build the infrastructure and tooling that supports AI-assisted and spec-driven development workflows, ensuring that intelligent tooling integrates seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
  • Automate Everything - Identify and eliminate manual processes through scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and test automation. Build systems that are reliable, repeatable, and scalable.
  • Iterate - Continuously improve the team's development environment, tooling, and processes. Champion the adoption of new practices that improve efficiency, reliability, and developer experience.
  • Tech Savvy - Stay current on emerging DevOps tooling, cloud-native practices, AI-enabled automation, and platform engineering trends, and actively look for ways to apply them to real problems.
  • Always Curious - Ask questions, challenge assumptions, and seek to understand the full system before proposing solutions. Make learning a continuous priority.
  • Team Obsessed - Engage in collaborative planning, support your teammates' productivity and growth, and hold yourself and others accountable to delivering results.

Who You Are:

You're a technology enthusiast who experiments with diverse technologies while strategically applying emerging solutions to drive organizational success. You demonstrate exceptional initiative in challenging situations, excel at identifying opportunities, embrace unfamiliar challenges, and communicate with clarity and impact.
