The Senior Director, AI, Workforce Innovation, and People Analytics is a visionary leader responsible for driving the strategic integration of advanced technologies, AI, and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to transform workforce operations and elevate employee experience.
This role requires a strategic decision maker with strong judgement, who can influence senior stakeholders, lead enterprise change management, and shape a forward-looking strategy grounded in data, innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities. The ideal candidate brings intellectual curiosity, operates as an experimenter, and continuously explores new approaches to improving workforce effectiveness through AI-powered and digital solutions.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$187,000.00 - $361,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Key Responsibilities
- AI, Analytics, Technology, and Integration
- Lead enterprise AI strategy for HR and workforce systems, ensuring alignment with long-term Human Capital Management (HCM) objectives
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of people systems, embedding AI capabilities to drive automation, intelligence, and efficiency.
- Champion the use of AI and advanced analytics to streamline workforce management, enhance employee experience, and enable predictive decision-making.
- Act as a visionary leader for future-state AI-enabled HR technology architecture, continuously evaluating emerging innovations
Business Process Design & Workforce Strategy
- Develop and execute a forward-looking AI-enabled workforce strategy that aligns business processes with enterprise goals
- Redesign processes leveraging AI and digital tools to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve outcomes
- Lead transformation initiatives that enable intelligent, data-driven, and digital-first operating models
- Serve as a key decision maker, applying strong judgement to balance innovation, risk, and execution
Workforce Insights & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Lead enterprise workforce insights and analytics capabilities, leveraging data and AI to inform business decisions
- Deliver actionable insights into workforce trends, performance, and behaviors to guide leadership strategy
- Build predictive models and scalable analytics frameworks to support workforce planning and optimization
- Translate insights into compelling narratives that drive executive influencing and alignment
Innovation, Experimentation, and Continuous Improvement
- Foster a culture of innovation grounded in curiosity, continuous learning, and AI experimentation
- Act as an experimenter, piloting AI solutions, automation tools, and new methodologies to improve workforce outcomes
- Drive a mindset of rapid testing, iteration, and data-informed decision-making
- Embed AI-driven innovation into HR processes to create sustainable competitive advantage
Change Management & Stakeholder Influence
- Lead enterprise change management initiatives supporting AI adoption, digital transformation, and workforce innovation
- Influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to embrace AI-enabled ways of working
- Communicate complex AI-driven insights and strategies clearly to diverse audiences
- Build strong partnerships across HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to deliver enterprise-wide impact

- Proven experience leading AI-driven workforce transformation, digital delivery, and data-driven decision-making initiatives
- Strong background in Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and AI-enabled technologies
- Demonstrated success driving enterprise change management and influencing executive stakeholders
Leadership
- Strategic thinker and visionary leader with strong decision-making capabilities and sound judgement
