About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Role Description

AI Labs is building an emerging product that changes how Salesforce itself gets built and run. The fastest way to prove it works is to run it on ourselves first. Salesforce is customer zero.

We are looking for a Senior Director to serve as Chief Operating Officer for this business. You coordinate every go to market team that touches the product: Sales, Customer Success, Partners, and Professional Services. Four organizations, one plan, one cadence, one set of numbers. Your job is to turn a promising product and four willing teams into a single repeatable motion, and to make Salesforce the first and best reference for what it does.

This is a build role. On day one there is a business to run and very little machinery to run it with, and you are the person who builds the machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate across all go to market teams. Own the operating plan that spans Sales, Success, Partners, and Professional Services. Clear rules of engagement, clear ownership, no duplicate coverage, no gaps between teams.
  • Make Salesforce customer zero. Own the internal rollout end to end: where we deploy first, who uses it, what we measure, and how quickly we fix what we find. Our own results become the proof the field sells with.
  • Run the operating cadence. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews across pipeline, adoption, delivery, and internal rollout. Make every review a decision meeting, not a status meeting.
  • Own the numbers. One version of the truth for the business, sourced and current, with a clear line between measured results and estimates. These are the figures we take to Finance and to our executive sponsors.
  • Clear the path. Keep legal, security review, deal desk, and customer paper ahead of demand so that nobody waits on process to build with a customer.
  • Land what we bring in. Bring new teams, tools, and acquired capabilities into one plan, one roadmap, and one set of measures. Land the people as carefully as the technology.
  • Team. Hire and lead a small, senior operations team. Few people, high judgment, wide scope.

Required Experiences & Skills
  • Experience. 12+ years in business operations, sales operations, strategy and operations
  • Cross functional command. You have run a motion that spanned sales, post sale, services, and partners at the same time, and you got four leaders to run the same play.
  • Zero to one. You have built an operating plan and a cadence for a business that did not have one, inside a company large enough to have opinions about both.
  • People management. 5+ years leading teams, including senior individual contributors.
  • Internal deployment. You have driven an internal rollout of a product or system at scale, and you know the difference between a launch and adoption.
  • Claim discipline. You distinguish a measured result from an anecdote, and you say which is which before anyone asks. Your executive figures survive scrutiny.
  • Influence. You are a trusted partner to senior leaders across Sales, Success, Services, Product, Finance, and Legal, and you build agreement without formal authority.
  • Preferred. Salesforce platform familiarity. Experience operating a consumption based business. Experience supporting an acquisition integration.
  • Education. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
