We combine proactive, 24/7 clinical care with technology that helps us reach patients earlier, identify risks sooner, and deliver personalized care throughout their journey. Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide.

About the role

We are looking for a results-driven and analytical Senior Director of Demand Generation to own and execute our B2B growth engine across health plan, employer, and broker channels. In this role, you will design, scale, and optimize multi-channel campaigns and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to generate qualified pipelines, accelerate sales cycles, and drive measurable revenue growth.

In this role, you will serve as the engine room of our growth strategy. You will bring a deep understanding of B2B performance marketing, marketing automation, lead lifecycle management, and account-targeted strategies tailored to buyers across commercial health plans, Medicaid MCOs, self-insured employers, TPAs, and benefit consultants.

This role will report to the VP of Marketing and can be based anywhere in the continental US.

What you'll do
  •  Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns across digital, email, content syndication, events, and paid media to drive high-quality pipeline.

  • Build and scale account-based marketing (ABM) programs tailored to complex healthcare buyers, including commercial payers, Medicaid plans, enterprise employers, and benefit consultants.

  • Manage the end-to-end lead lifecycle, lead scoring, and MQL-to-SQL handoff process in close partnership with Sales to maximize pipeline conversion and velocity.

  • Own the marketing technology stack, campaign analytics, and attribution modeling to measure campaign ROI, CAC efficiency, and pipeline contribution.

  • Collaborate with Content and Product Marketing to align campaign offers, landing pages, and enablement assets with specific buyer pain points across distinct healthcare audiences.

Who you are
  • 10+ years of B2B demand generation experience, preferably within digital health, healthtech, or employer benefits.

  • Proven track record of designing and scaling ABM and performance marketing programs that directly drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.

  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, with the ability to build processes from the ground up and adapt quickly to shifting business needs.

  • Deep technical expertise with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (Salesforce), as well as ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, Terminus).

  • Strong analytical mindset with an obsession for performance metrics, A/B testing, funnel optimization, and attribution modeling.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Sales and Growth Operations in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Why you should join our team

By joining Pomelo, you will get in on the ground floor of a fast-moving, well-funded, and mission-driven startup that always puts the patient first. You will learn, grow and be challenged, and have fun with your team while doing it.

We strive to create an environment where employees from all backgrounds are respected. We value working across disciplines, moving fast, data-driven decision making, learning, and always putting the patient first.

Benefits and Perks
  • Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision coverage for employees and their families

  • High deductible Health Plans with Health Savings Account (HSA) options

  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

  • Equity grant participation

  • 401(k) program

  • Competitive vacation policy

  • 16 weeks paid parental leave

Fully remote work flexibility (within the US)

Compensation

The expected base salary range offered for this role is $235,000-$255,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and equity, giving you an ownership stake in Pomelo’s mission. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
