Position Summary: We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director of Enterprise Applications to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide application solutions. This executive will be responsible for aligning application initiatives with business goals, driving innovation, and ensuring the successful integration and lifecycle management of applications across key firm Legal departments and HR, Finance, Marketing, and Core Operations. 

This role is critical in shaping the future of our digital ecosystem, ensuring our application portfolio is modern, scalable, secure, and user centric. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the enterprise application strategy in alignment with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives. 
  • Application Portfolio Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications—from selection and implementation to optimization and retirement. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business leaders across HR, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to understand needs and deliver tailored application solutions. 
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure application systems comply with internal policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of application managers, analysts, and developers. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. 
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with software vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure value delivery and performance. 
  • Performance & Metrics: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure application performance, user satisfaction, and business impact. 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise applications, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive role. 
  • Proven success in leading large-scale application initiatives across multiple business domains. 
  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, HCM, and other enterprise platforms. 
  • Experience with cloud-based application ecosystems (e.g., Filevine, ADP, etc). 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution. 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.   
  • Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.  
  • Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc.  May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
  • Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.  
  • Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs. 
  • Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
