Procore is looking for a Senior Director, G&A Technology to lead strategy, architecture, and delivery for the technology platforms that run our Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, and HR functions, including NetSuite, Workday, Zip, and Ironclad.

Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Technology and Business Platforms, this leader will be the primary technology partner to our CFO, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief People Officer, translating their priorities into a platform roadmap that scales with the business.

This position will ideally be based in our Austin, TX office.

What You'll Do:
  • Platform strategy and architecture: Own the roadmap and architecture for our core G&A platforms, ensuring the systems Finance, Legal, Procurement, and HR run on scale reliably, integrate cleanly, and meet security and compliance requirements.
  • Business partnership: Build a standing operating rhythm with Finance, Legal, and HR leadership, including business reviews and a shared intake process, so technology investment stays aligned to what those functions actually need next.
  • Governance that scales: Establish a clear, lightweight stage gate process so major initiatives are properly scoped before development starts, without adding bureaucracy to smaller work.
  • SOX and change management: Own SOX and change management controls for G&A systems end to end, working proactively with audit and compliance rather than relying on individual analysts to catch issues after the fact.
  • Role clarity: Draw a clear line between the business analysts who own requirements and process design and the technical team who owns configuration and release engineering, so accountability is unambiguous on both sides.
  • Integration engineering: Partner with GTM Technology and Enterprise Data Engineering to build integration engineering capability on our middleware platform, Workato, reducing reliance on outside contractors for financial, procurement, and HR data flows.
  • Automation and AI: Bring automation into how the team operates, using the AI capabilities already built into Workday, NetSuite, and Ironclad to speed up close, HR case management, and contract review rather than treating those as manual processes.
  • Talent model: Restructure the team from single application owners into cross-trained pods, so no one system depends on one person.

What You Bring:
  • Experience: 15 or more years leading enterprise application portfolios spanning Finance, HR, Legal, or Procurement inside a fast-growing SaaS or public software company, or equivalent experience.
  • Platform depth: Deep hands-on knowledge of platforms like Workday, NetSuite, Zip, or Ironclad, along with enterprise integration tools such as Workato or MuleSoft.
  • Compliance track record: A track record of building and operationalizing SOX IT general controls inside a real software development lifecycle, not just auditing someone else's.
  • Operating model experience: Experience standing up intake, SLAs, and governance that actually gets used by the business, not just written down.
  • M&A integration: Direct experience with M&A system integration, including onboarding acquired companies into existing financial and HR systems on a tight timeline.
  • Executive presence: Strong executive presence and a demonstrated ability to build trust with CFO, legal, and HR leadership, translating their goals into a roadmap engineers can execute against.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. An advanced degree is a plus but not required.
