Responsibilities

The Senior Director of HR Technology will report to the Senior Managing Director of HR Operations and Technology while leading the strategy, governance, and execution of the organization’s HR technology roadmap, with Workday HCM serving as the core platform. This role is responsible for delivering scalable, integrated, user-centered technology solutions that support Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, reporting, security, and broader HR operations.


The successful candidate will partner closely with HR, IT, Finance, Data, Analytics, and business leaders as a consultative product subject matter expert, aligning technology solutions with business priorities, improving operational efficiency, strengthening global compliance, and advancing automation plus AI-enabled capabilities across the employee experience.  

This leader will bring a strategic, consultative, collaborative, execution-oriented approach to HR technology. The role requires balancing long-term platform strategy with day-to-day operational excellence, building trusted partnerships, and enabling modern, consistent, data-driven experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR Technology roadmap, using Workday HCM as the foundational platform and ensuring effective support for Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, and related HR products.
  • Oversee Workday integrations, reporting, security, configuration, testing, and release management to deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant solutions.
  • Establish and manage governance for HR Technology priorities, ensuring initiatives are aligned with business objectives, enterprise standards, and execution capacity.
  • Develop, coach, and engage a high-performing team responsible for product strategy, modernization, solution design, configuration, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a consultative product subject matter expert, solution architect, and strategic advisor across HR, IT, Finance, Data, and Analytics to deliver business-aligned, data-driven technology outcomes.
  • Drive innovation through automation, process simplification, AI-enabled initiatives, and improved digital employee experiences.
  • Lead project management activities across HR technology initiatives, ensuring coordinated execution, clear decision-making, measurable delivery, and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Promote standardization, consistency, and global compliance across HR technology processes, data, integrations, and security practices.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 
  • 10+ years of experience leading HR technology strategy, operations, and delivery in a complex, global organization.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday HCM and related HR platforms across Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Benefits, reporting, security, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, data governance, process design, compliance requirements, and employee experience principles.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Global Experience driving modernization, automation, product governance, and continuous improvement across HR technology ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, project leadership, problem-solving, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Consulting experience preferred, particularly in HR technology transformation, data architecture, product advisory, or enterprise platform optimization.
