Title: Senior Director, Publisher Partnerships

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000
The Opportunity
Kargo is looking for a driven Senior Director of Publisher Partnerships to join our Publisher Partnership Team. This role reports to the Vice President of Global Supply to provide best-in-industry white-glove service to some of the most recognizable digital media brands in the world. The ideal candidate is a strong partner-facing account manager with excellent people management skills and is collaborative, consultative, and positive. 

The Senior Director of Publisher Partnerships will become the expert on all things Kargo, immersed into the Ad Tech industry: from marketing to engineering, to product, to strategy, and will be able to speak to these aspects with our partners through quarterly business reviews, emails, and calls. The Daily To-Do

  • Create, build and maintain strong and effective relationships with top publisher partners
  • Provide strategic consulting regarding inventory monetization strategies, industry trends and best practices to help publishers grow their business using Kargo services 
  • Work closely with Kargo’s Sales Engineering, Product and Yield teams to ensure all integrations and operations run smoothly 
  • Analyze data to make strategic recommendations and identify incremental opportunities for all publisher accounts 
  • Lead partner meetings to lend insights on publisher account history, current performance, and opportunities for growth
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee a high-performing team

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience working in a publisher-facing role for an SSP, DSP, media, digital, or technology organization 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with managers, employees and publishers 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize requests from multiple publisher accounts 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Tables, Functions etc.) 
  • Solutions-oriented team player that can maintain a positive attitude under pressure 
  • Highly developed leadership, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills 
  • People management experience
  • Preferred - Already have a book of business of pre-existing publisher relationships and contacts
