Senior Director – Technology Transformation Advisory

The Senior Director, Technology Transformation Advisory will be a leader in the Technology Transformation capability within the Advisory practice. This leader will help clients define, shape, and execute enterprise-scale digital transformation strategies that connect business priorities to technology modernization, operating model change, and measurable business value. This role requires a senior consulting leader who can advise C-suite executives, shape transformation opportunities, build repeatable advisory offerings, and partner across sales, delivery, architecture, infrastructure, cloud, data, AI, applications, managed services, organizational change, and experience design teams. The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, commercial orientation, technology depth, and the ability to turn complex business and technology challenges into actionable transformation roadmaps.

Responsibilities
• Be part of the leadership team that will help build and scale the Technology Transformation advisory capability, including offerings, methods, frameworks, accelerators, and executive-ready deliverables. 
• Advise senior client stakeholders on technology modernization, cloud transformation, application modernization, data and AI enablement, operating model redesign, and transformation sequencing. 
• Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, current-state assessments, future-state design efforts, and roadmap development engagements. 
• Translate business objectives into practical technology strategies, investment cases, capability models, and multi-horizon transformation plans. 
• Partner with sales, account, industry, and GTM teams to identify, shape, and close advisory-led transformation opportunities. 
• Support proposals, statements of work, executive briefings, oral presentations, and client pursuit strategies. 
• Collaborate with delivery service lines and centralized solution architecture teams to ensure advisory recommendations are technically sound, commercially viable, and executable. 
• Work across Business Advisory, Organizational Change Management, and Experience Design teams to deliver integrated transformation programs. 
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior business and technology executives. 
• Develop and mentor advisory talent while establishing quality standards for consulting delivery, executive communication, and client engagement. 
• Create thought leadership, market POVs, client narratives, and reusable intellectual property that strengthens the firm’s differentiation in digital and technology transformation. 

Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, business transformation, or related advisory roles. 
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with responsibility for client relationships, consulting delivery, team leadership, and business development. 
• Proven experience advising C-suite and senior business or technology executives. 
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology modernization, including cloud, data platforms, AI, applications, integration, cybersecurity, and managed services. 
• Demonstrated ability to develop transformation strategies, business cases, operating models, and multi-year roadmaps. 
• Experience shaping and selling advisory, strategy, or transformation engagements. 
• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to create and present board-level and Csuite materials. 
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across strategy, architecture, delivery, change management, and business stakeholders. 
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and converting complex client challenges into structured, actionable plans.

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a top-tier consulting, systems integration, cloud services, or transformation firm. 
• Experience building or scaling an advisory, strategy, or transformation practice. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other enterprise technology platforms. 
• Experience with AI-enabled transformation, data modernization, application modernization, platform engineering, or product operating model design. 
• Industry expertise in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, retail, insurance, energy, public sector, or other enterprise sectors. 
• MBA, advanced technical degree, or relevant certifications in cloud, enterprise architecture, agile/product management, change management, or transformation.

3Cloud offers competitive compensation. In addition to base pay employees are eligible to receive an annual discretionary/utilization bonus. If you are hired at 3Cloud your final base salary is based on factors such as skills, education, experience and/or geographic location. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above includes the full base salary range for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

Base Salary Range
$183,400$229,300 USD
