The Senior Education Services Operations Specialist is responsible for driving the commercial growth, profitability, and market expansion of Education Services across the assigned region. The role owns the regional training and certification business strategy and is accountable for achieving revenue, bookings, margin, and customer engagement targets.

This individual serves as the strategic leader for Education Services within the region, building strong partnerships with Sales, Customer Success, Distributors, Authorized Training Partners (ATPs), and key customer stakeholders. The successful candidate will identify growth opportunities, develop and execute business plans, expand market reach through channel partners, and influence customer investment in workforce development and technical training solutions.

The role requires a highly motivated, results-driven individual with strong business acumen, executive presence, negotiation expertise, and a proven track record of delivering growth in challenging market conditions.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL: 

  • Commercial Leadership & Business Growth
    • Own and deliver regional Education Services revenue, bookings, margin, utilization, and growth targets.
    • Develop and execute a multi-year regional business growth strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Drive pipeline generation and conversion activities to achieve and exceed KPIs.
    • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and expansion strategies to increase training and certification adoption.
    • Lead forecast planning, quarterly business reviews, and performance reporting for regional leadership.
    • Proactively identify risks to target attainment and implement corrective actions to ensure business delivery.
  • Strategic Sales Partnership
    • Build trusted relationships with regional Sales Leaders, Account Managers, Customer Success teams, and Business Unit leaders.
    • Partner with sales teams on strategic opportunities and account planning activities to drive training attach and expansion revenue.
    • Influence and enable sales teams to position Education Services as a key component of customer success and digital transformation initiatives.
    • Participate in customer executive briefings, commercial negotiations, and strategic account reviews.
    • Develop and present compelling business cases and value propositions to senior customer leadership teams.
  • Channel & Distributor Management
    • Own the regional distributor strategy for Education Services.
    • Develop, manage, and grow distributor relationships to increase market coverage and revenue generation.
    • Establish performance metrics and business plans with distributors, monitoring execution and results.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and channel partners to drive accountability and growth.
    • Identify underperforming relationships and implement recovery or replacement strategies when required.
  • Authorized Training Partner (ATP) Development
    • Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop Authorized Training Partners (ATPs) across the region.
    • Establish annual business plans and performance targets for ATPs.
    • Monitor ATP performance against revenue, quality, utilization, and customer satisfaction KPIs.
    • Drive ATP capability development and certification readiness to ensure consistent delivery quality.
    • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, compliance audits, and performance reviews for ATP partners.
    • Expand the ATP network strategically to support regional growth objectives.
  • Customer & Executive Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customer stakeholders.
    • Present training and workforce development proposals to senior leadership teams and decision-makers.
    • Lead complex commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and enterprise training agreements.
    • Act as the escalation point for high-impact customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
    • Manage difficult customer situations and conflicts professionally while protecting long-term business relationships.
  • Stakeholder Management & Influence
    • Influence cross-functional teams to support regional business objectives without direct authority.
    • Provide regional market intelligence and customer insights to leadership, marketing, portfolio, and content teams.
    • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales organizations to align go-to-market activities.
    • Represent Education Services in regional leadership discussions and strategic planning initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE: You are a results-driven business leader who builds strong partnerships, identifies growth opportunities, and executes strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes. You influence stakeholders at all levels, navigate complex commercial discussions with confidence, and use sound business and financial judgment to drive sustainable growth and customer success.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, channel management, sales, account management, or training services.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Experience managing distributors, channel partners, or indirect sales networks.
  • Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior decision-makers and customer leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating complex commercial agreements and resolving business conflicts.
  • Experience developing strategic business plans, forecasting, and managing KPIs.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze business performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Experience within the manufacturing, energy, oil and gas, automotive, biotechnology, medical, scientific, digital solutions and/or heavy industrial industries
