Who we're looking for 

ZORA is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our technology team and drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

What you'll do

  • Lead the engineering team and oversee the development of software products
  • Set technical direction and ensure the team is aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of software products through the development process
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive innovation within the engineering team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and operations to drive the development and launch of new products
  • Manage resource allocation, budget, and timelines to meet business goals
  • Stay current with industry trends and technology advancements to ensure the team is leveraging the latest tools and best practices

Skills we're looking for

  • Proven experience leading and managing engineering teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Strong technical background with experience in software development
  • Ability to set and prioritize goals, manage budgets and timelines, and lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to drive solutions
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and experience implementing Agile processes
  • Knowledge of current technology trends and developments in the industry

We'd love it if you had

  • Experience managing remote engineering teams
  • Strong knowledge of frontend technologies and infrastructure
  • Experience with modern web and mobile technologies
  • Experience in delivering scalable and secure software solutions.
