We’re seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Senior Finance Analyst to support our accounting, finance, and sales operations. As we scale our revolutionary chip technology, we need a financial professional who can deliver accurate financial analysis, maintain data integrity, and provide insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with our CFO as well as our sales organization, contributing to everything from financial forecasting to CRM management, and sales pipeline analytics. - Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance analysis on actual results versus budget and forecast; prepare clear, actionable insights for management.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, automate routine tasks, and improve overall efficiency.
- Special Projects: Lead or support ad-hoc financial projects including cost analysis, forecasting, and special accounting initiatives.
- Sales Pipeline Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales pipeline data, deal progression, and conversion metrics; provide insights to support sales forecasting and revenue projections.
- CRM Management: Maintain and optimize the CRM system; ensure data accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and proper forecasting inputs.
- Sales Operations Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide financial analysis on deal sizes, margins, customer acquisition costs, and sales performance metrics.
- CFO Partnership: Work closely with the CFO to deliver financial insights, analyses, and reports that inform strategic business decisions and drive operational excellence.
- Provide proactive analytics and reporting including identification of sales and margin trends, key monthly financial drivers, customer and profitability analysis and other special projects to improve operational and financial performance.
- Prepare information for monthly Senior Leadership meetings, quarterly board meetings and the organization’s annual Plan.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate routine financial tasks, such as data loading and reporting, to improve accuracy and reduce month-end close cycles.
- Technology & AI Integration: Actively engage with and learn new AI-powered tools and features within our financial systems to enhance planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 - 6 years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a high-growth technology environment.
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in data analysis, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Experience with modern ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales operations processes.
- Experience working with sales teams and understanding sales metrics, pipeline management, and revenue operations.
- Direct experience with enterprise CRM platforms and sales operations.
- Experience with revenue operations or sales analytics roles.
- Master’s degree in finance
- Buy-side fundraising & acquisition experience
- Semiconductor industry experience
