Senior Financial Analyst, Sales Finance

Hybrid (2 days/week in office) - Dallas–Fort Worth, TX metro area or Tacoma, WA

We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Sales Finance team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance. This role is focused on rebuilding global reporting and data foundations while supporting planning, forecasting and revenue insights. You will partner closely with Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, Renewals, IT and consulting partners to design practical solutions for complex reporting needs. The team is in a fast-moving rebuild phase, so this role is best suited for someone who can move quickly through ambiguity, roll up their sleeves and build—not just operate—processes. This is a top-line focused role. You will work with bookings, annual recurring revenue (ARR), renewals, install base, forecasts, actuals, variance analysis and related performance measures. The role supports global stakeholders across time zones and may expand into broader FP&A over time.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do

  • Own and improve global bookings, renewals, install-base and top-line performance reporting, including bookings, ARR, ACV/TCV, attach rates, actuals, forecasts and variance analysis
  • Partner with Sales Finance, Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, Renewals, IT and consulting teams to rebuild reporting and data foundations
  • Design and implement practical solutions for complex reporting issues by connecting quote-line, renewal and customer-level data into useful business views
  • Translate business requirements into data definitions, reporting logic and scalable processes using Salesforce, Databricks and related tools
  • Develop and deliver recurring reports, dashboards and executive-ready insights for global stakeholders across time zones
  • Support long-range planning and future expansion into broader FP&A using historical trends, pipeline data and business drivers
  • Communicate technical findings clearly, build stakeholder alignment and recommend actions in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Use generative AI tools to pressure-test assumptions, document and rethink processes, accelerate analysis and identify more efficient ways to work, applying sound judgment and human review

Be Prepared — What You Bring

  • 6-11 years of experience in finance, FP&A, Sales Finance or business analytics in a technology or SaaS environment
  • Experience with software bookings and recurring revenue concepts, including ARR, ACV/TCV, actuals, forecasts, variance analysis and performance drivers
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience is required, along with strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Strong preference for Databricks experience; Tableau, SQL or comparable BI/data-platform experience is highly valuable
  • Experience building or rebuilding reporting processes, data models or dashboards in an ambiguous, changing environment
  • Ability to design solutions, connect data across reporting levels and improve processes rather than simply follow an established SOP
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical data clearly to business leaders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders across time zones
  • Curiosity and practical fluency with generative AI, including a willingness to work in an AI-first environment while protecting confidential data and applying human judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field

Be Successful — Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months:

  • Own recurring global bookings, renewals, install-base and top-line reporting with accurate definitions and clear outputs
  • Produce forecasts, actuals, variance analysis and KPI insights, explaining the business drivers
  • Partner with IT and consulting teams to improve dashboards, data sources and scalable reporting processes
  • Use AI tools to pressure-test processes and accelerate analysis while applying human review and sound data judgment

One Year:

  • Be a trusted global partner to Sales Finance, Finance, Sales, Revenue Operations, Renewals and IT
  • Help resolve complex data issues and scale reliable reporting across global teams
  • Contribute to long-range planning and broader FP&A priorities using bookings and recurring-revenue insights
  • Identify new KPIs and design process improvements that make reporting more efficient and actionable

  • Sixteen paid volunteer hours each year, global employee resource groups, and a “No Jerks” policy that keeps collaboration healthy
  • Modern offices with EV charging, healthy snacks (and the occasional cupcake), plus hackathons, game nights, and culture celebrations
  • Charitable Giving Program supported by Company Match
  • We practice pay transparency and reward performance. Offers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base salary for this position: $106,900 - $159,280 plus bonus or commissions
