Job Description:
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a critical role in aligning financial strategies with sales objectives and optimizing operational efficiency. This position requires a seasoned financial professional with expertise in Salesforce utilization, RevOps collaboration, and strategic financial planning.
What you will be responsible for:Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the company's performance, profitability, and financial health.
Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.
Collaborate with RevOps and the sales team to understand and analyze sales data, performance metrics, and sales pipelines.
Sales Analysis:
Work closely with the Revenue Operations team to align financial goals with overall revenue strategies and operational efficiency.
Engage in regular meetings with RevOps to discuss performance metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Salesforce.com:
Utilize Salesforce to gather, organize, and analyze sales data for reporting purposes.
Work with RevOps to establish and maintain data governance practices within Salesforce, ensuring accurate and reliable data for both financial and operational reporting.
Collaborate on data hygiene initiatives to enhance the overall quality of information within the system.
Reporting and Dashboards:
Work with the IT and RevOps teams to create customized Salesforce reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for both financial and operational stakeholders.
Partner with RevOps to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that span financial, sales, and operational metrics.
Collaborate on developing comprehensive dashboards and reports that provide a holistic view of the organization's performance.
Forecasting and Planning:
Work closely with RevOps to integrate revenue forecasts into the overall financial planning process, ensuring alignment between sales forecasts and financial projections.
Collaborate on scenario analysis to assess the impact of different operational strategies on revenue outcomes.
Financial Modeling:
Develop financial models to support decision-making processes related to sales strategies, pricing, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with the sales and RevOps teams to refine forecasting models and ensure alignment with business goals.
Perform scenario analysis to assess the impact of different business strategies on financial outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration:
Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders in clear, concise messaging with actionable insights.
Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from sales, RevOps, or senior management.
Foster collaboration between finance, sales, and RevOps teams to ensure a cohesive approach towards achieving business objectives.
Continuous Learning and Development:
Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in Finance, Planning and Revenue Operations to contribute valuable insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with RevOps in ongoing training programs to ensure that the finance and sales teams are proficient in utilizing Salesforce for optimal results.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial, sales, and operational workflows.
Established business experience in finance or revenue operations.
Proven experience in designing and implementing financial models.
Strong proficiency in Salesforce utilization for financial reporting and analysis.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $83,000 and $113,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
