You’ll join a cross-functional Data Applications team supporting the modernization of secure healthcare platforms and user-facing analytics tools. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and sustain responsive data applications that integrate complex backend data environments with accessible, human-centered user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, data engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that meet strict performance, accessibility, and security standards. This role leans senior but is intentionally broad to attract engineers who enjoy working across the full stack in regulated, mission-driven environments.
What You’ll Bring:
You bring experience developing secure, user-facing web applications and are comfortable working across frontend and backend components. You’ve supported applications through the full lifecycle and understand how to balance usability, performance, accessibility, and security. You communicate well across technical and non-technical teams and enjoy collaborating with designers and functional partners to turn real user needs into reliable software.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Build and enhance full-stack, user-facing data applications using modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar) and backend services.
- Develop and integrate APIs, services, and data layers leveraging SQL Server, REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards such as SMART on FHIR.
- Translate UX designs from Figma or Adobe XD into responsive, Section 508- and WCAG-compliant interfaces.
- Integrate analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik into application workflows.
- Deploy and sustain applications using CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevSecOps and platform teams.
- Implement secure authentication and access patterns including CAC, SSO, MFA, and zero-trust-aligned designs.
- Support iterative delivery using SAFe Agile, including backlog refinement, iteration planning, and defect resolution.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
