NVLink Fusion is an industry disrupting product that provides CSPs and Hyperscalars building custom AI ASICs to rapidly deploy rack-scale compute with proven NVLINK scale-up architecture.

NVIDIA is hiring an Function Modeling Engineer to drive functional modeling for NVLink Fusion, which brings together industry leading CPU, Compute, and Networking technologies. We are looking for special individuals with a passion and desire to deliver innovative products. In this position, you will be working with other world-class architects on enabling functional simulation platforms across CPU, GPU and networking products.

What you'll be doing:

  • Modeling of compute, and fabric architecture, switch components and other features

  • Work in a matrixed environment, across the different modeling teams, to document, design, develop tools to analyze and simulate, validate and verify models

  • Engaging closely with customers as we work together to develop new products on out platforms.

  • Develop tests, test plans and testing infrastructure for new architectures/ features

  • Guide the improvement of the simulation platform and expand other resources to support future architectures

  • Develop or use AI to help with day-to-day tasks

What we need to see:

  • 12+ years of experience within Functional Modeling Engineer

  • Masters Degree in computer science or equivalent experience

  • Hardware or Software engineering background with knowledge of Computer Architecture, Digital Design, and Software Development principles

  • Solid experience in modeling (System C & TLM preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a track record of driving issues to closure

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work successfully in a distributed team environment

  • Strong collaboration skills with design and engineering teams

  • Experience in Unix/Linux environment

  • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5, and 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD for Level 6.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
