Senior Government Funding Project Manager – Remote / Must Reside in PA

When you join our team as a Senior Government Funding Project Manager, you will help strengthen the Pre-K, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs serving children and families in our centers. You’ll partner with center and field leaders, colleagues, and state agencies to provide guidance, monitor grant requirements, and create practical resources that support program success. As a trusted expert for your assigned states, you’ll build strong relationships and help our teams navigate evolving requirements with confidence. 

Responsibilities: 

• Support the implementation and ongoing fidelity of our Pre-K and Head Start / Early Head Start Programs that are contracted to operate in our centers 

• Support center and field leaders with their understanding of Pre-K and Head Start program operations and compliance, developing methods for support and assistance where possible 

• In collaboration with your colleagues, create state and/or contract-specific tools and resources to support grant compliance needs and data monitoring  

• Collaborate with colleagues to support the ongoing monitoring of the grant life cycle and connect with the field to collect data for grant renewals as needed 

• Create and sustain relationships with state agency partners for program operation needs 

• Create and sustain relationships with center and field leaders to provide updates on grant progress and check in on program metrics like recruiting, family engagement, home visits, spending, and other program-specific needs   

• Act as the content expert for the state portfolio that you are assigned to, keeping abreast of program information and expectations as they change over time  

• Collaborate with peers to collect and maintain state and program data to track the overall progress of the Pre-K and Head Start programs in our centers and their expectations 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or related field with ECE experience preferred 

• Experience with Pre-K / Head Start / Early Head Start programs that will be assigned as part of the portfolio overview  

• Strong computer skills covering general office software, including MS Office 

• Professional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to foster open dialogue  

• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner by prioritizing work in a multi-task environment   

• Ability to travel to assigned centers to conduct Quarterly Observations (~25%)  

• Overnight travel is occasionally required depending on assignment
