SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

ABOUT US

Rythm is the fastest-growing lab in America. We redefined at-home testing with the world’s easiest blood test and created a culture around monthly lab testing from home. We’ve processed millions of tests across all 50 states, and we do everything in-house, from sample testing and logistics to code, marketing, and design. That vertical integration gives us the speed, control, and creativity to shape the future of health and wellness.

THE ROLE

As the Senior Product Designer, you’ll help shape the future of the Rythm experience across mobile, web, and member journeys.

This is a highly impactful role for someone who loves operating in early-stage environments and wants to own meaningful product problems end-to-end. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, growth, operations, and leadership to design experiences that make complex health data feel intuitive, actionable, and human.

This is not a “just make it pretty” design role. We’re looking for someone who thinks deeply about user behavior, systems, workflows, and outcomes while also having strong visual taste and UX instincts. You’ll have significant ownership, influence on product direction, and the opportunity to help establish the design foundation of the company as we scale.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the end-to-end product design process across core member experiences

  • Design intuitive workflows and user experiences across onboarding, biomarker results, dashboards, recommendations, subscriptions, and member engagement

  • Translate complex healthcare and biomarker data into simple, digestible, user-friendly experiences

  • Partner closely with product and engineering to define requirements, prioritize opportunities, and ship quickly

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to inform product decisions

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, flows, high-fidelity mocks, and production-ready designs

  • Help establish scalable design systems, patterns, and documentation

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, operations, customer support, and clinical teams

  • Bring strong product thinking and contribute strategically beyond visual execution

  • Balance speed and quality in a fast-moving startup environment

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5–8+ years of product design experience across consumer apps, SaaS, health tech, wellness, ecommerce, or subscription products.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and UX problem solving.

  • Experience designing data-rich or behavior-driven consumer experiences.

  • Deep experience in Figma, including: auto layout, components & variants, design systems, prototyping.

  • Strong systems thinking and information architecture skills.

  • Comfortable operating autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent visual design instincts across layout, hierarchy, spacing, and typography.

  • Experience collaborating directly with engineers and product managers.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Strong visual design instincts with attention to detail.

  • Mobile app experience.

  • Experience simplifying complex or technical information for consumers

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Rythm Health offers a competitive compensation package which includes:

  • Opportunity to help define the future of personalized health.

  • High ownership and visibility from day one.

  • Small, collaborative, mission-driven team.

  • Ability to shape both product and design culture early.

  • Highly competitive base salary.

  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment.

  • Meaningful work that genuinely impacts people’s lives

  • Equity: Meaningful equity stake aligned with the scope and seniority of this role.

  • Monthly Rythm Health membership with full access to at-home blood testing and personalized health insights.

  • Paid Time Off + Company Holidays.

  • 401(k) with company match.

  • Professional development stipend.
