Job Summary

TestPros is seeking a Senior IV&V Manager (On-site, Austin TX) for a Legacy Systems Replacement Project (LSRP) – IV&V Services. This role is responsible for ensuring contract compliance, validating deliverables, identifying risks, and supporting executive decision-making through detailed, independent project assessments. The ideal candidate will have extensive IV&V and SDLC oversight experience in public sector environments.
Position: Full Time 

Citizenship: U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required due to the nature of the project and access to state systems.

Location:  Austin, TX 78723

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead all IV&V functions, including independent assessment of project performance, deliverables, and risk.

  • Produce IV&V Management Plan and Schedule within 30 days of award.

  • Provide monthly written IV&V status reports and participate in weekly progress reviews.

  • Conduct reviews of all major contractor deliverables, including PM Plan, Deployment Plan, Cutover Plan, Test Plans, and Training Materials.

  • Validate requirements traceability, data quality, configuration documentation, and production readiness.

  • Monitor contract compliance, risk management, and project governance processes.

  • Develop and report metrics related to project health and performance.

  • Ensure alignment with applicable state and federal laws, TDLR policies, and quality assurance standards.

  • Translate technical findings into non-technical summaries for executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience supporting large-scale government IT projects.

  • At least 5 years in a senior IV&V, QA, or oversight role.

  • Proven ability to lead structured assessments and deliver executive-ready reports.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and quality management frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Texas state agency processes and compliance standards.

  • PMP certification strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Location Requirement:

  • The role requires regular on-site presence at TDLR’s offices in Austin, TX.

  • On-site attendance is mandatory for stakeholder meetings, deliverable reviews, and other key activities as determined by TDLR.

  • Limited remote work may be allowed at TDLR’s discretion, but this is not a remote position.
