About the Role

We’re seeking a Sr. Manager, Editorial and Strategic Comms to drive our communications strategy spanning thought leadership, public relations, media relations, executive platforms and cross-channel content activation.

This role is best suited to an editorial and newsroom-minded leader: you think about the activation and impact of our storytelling across earned, owned, and social channels, and partner closely with customer-facing teams, product, PMM, and data and analytics to bring that content to life holistically, in support of our brand and deeper engagement with customers and prospects.You will manage a direct report focused on organic channels and brand reputation, and work closely with our content team, who support research on market and consumer insights and deliverables.

This is a high-impact function that influences our reputation, reach, and relevance across key audiences. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Brand and Content Marketing.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Lead PR strategy, securing consistent media coverage across tech, marketing/advertising, and business trades.
  • Serve as editorial lead for orchestrating and activating content and storytelling across our owned and social channels, bringing our narrative to life and drive measurable engagement (earned coverage, citations, share of voice, reputation indicators, etc.)
  • Develop and execute GTM communications plans for product launches, strategic partnerships, and major company milestones for maximum impact.
  • Partner to build executive visibility programs for our CEO and other key executives and customer-facing leaders across media, speaking opportunities, and social platforms.
  • Support thought leadership content, panel submissions, keynote messaging, and manage executive briefings around events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to evolve the company’s brand narrative, boilerplate, and corporate positioning.
  • Manage PR agencies and oversee PR measurement and reporting, including share of voice, reputation tracking, and announcement impact.
  • Own crisis communications, crafting reactive statements and coordinating with key stakeholders.
  • Steward reputation internally as well, through partnering on employee advocacy efforts, internal comms where needed and general upleveling of the employer brand.

Your Expertise

  • 7-10+ years of experience in communications, PR, or brand strategy roles, preferably in B2B tech or high-growth companies.
  • Experience as an editorial or newsroom leader, with a strong point of view on activating storytelling across earned, owned, and social channels to drive brand and business impact.
  • Solid storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Proven track record of securing impactful media coverage and managing executive visibility programs.
  • Strong relationships across media, events, and analyst communities as a plus.
  • Strategic thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and cross-functional projects.
  • Comfortable navigating crisis and issues communications with discretion and clarity.
  • Experience in employer branding and internal cascading comms a plus.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools for comms (e.g., Meltwater) and AI tooling such as Claude and ChatGPT for reporting, analysis and cross-functional resourcing. 

Nice to Haves

  • Global PR experience, particularly in EMEA and APAC markets.
  • relationships with journalists, trade pubs, podcast hosts, and influencers for executive and customer platforms.
  • Background in SMS, ecommerce, marketing technology, or advertising tech industries.

For US based applicants:

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000 - $175,000 annually + equity + benefits
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
