About the Role

This Senior Manager will lead the Global Planning Tools and Processes team for YETI and will be responsible for our supply and demand planning tools (including SAP IBP), global forecasting processes, data architecture, and support the roll up of YETI’s monthly Demand and Sales Plans. This role requires strong analytical capability, technical fluency, deep experience with planning systems, global cross‑functional influence, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for executive leadership. Ideal candidates bring planning expertise in SAP IBP (Demand & Supply), advanced data visualization experience (Tableau or PowerBI), an eye for detail, an ability to work with large data sets across a variety of analytical tools, and a passion for building the future of planning tools and processes for YETI.

What You'll Do

Technical, Data, and Tool‑Building Focus

  • Own the performance and accuracy of the demand and supply planning tools for YETI including SAP IBP.
  • Represent the needs of the global planning teams in defining future planning capabilities—helping shape enhancements, automation, data flow improvements, and long‑term tool roadmaps.
  • Influence regional teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia to drive adoption of planning tools, processes, and enhancements.
  • Ensure proper data flow between planning systems. This role will require a deep review of current data architecture to identify and implement solutions that simplify structure and improve performance and data accuracy.
  • Identify and implement ways to leverage AI, anomaly detection and Robotic Process Automation to improve forecast and supply planning accuracy and forecasting time.
  • Work with large and complex data sets to extract insights, diagnose issues, and ensure data integrity across YETI’s planning systems.
  • Use advanced analytics tools (Excel, data visualization platforms like Tableau and PowerBI, etc.) to develop reporting, dashboards, models, and scalable planning solutions.
  • Apply strong analytical reasoning to investigate deltas, understand root causes, and clearly articulate the “why behind the data.”
  • Lead or support major strategic planning transformation initiatives (e.g., IBP enhancements, automation, planning process modernization).

Global Planning Roll Ups

  • Coordinate YETI’s global demand planning process monthly, ensuring consistent templates, assumptions, data standards, and deliverable dates across all regions and channels.
  • Review and provide feedback on demand plans across channels and countries.
  • Consolidate final demand plan submissions across regions/channels in SAP IBP
  • Partner with Supply Planning to develop a constrained demand view based on inventory availability and deliver to Finance for financial planning cycles.
  • Communicate effectively with senior partners across Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Finance to ensure alignment on assumptions, risks, and opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree greater than 10 years of relevant experience, including planning tool experience.
  • 5+ years or management experience
  • Planning experience with SAP IBP Demand and Supply strongly preferred
  • Ability to work with large datasets
  • Strong analytics and Excel expertise
  • Data visualization experience required
  • SQL/Python familiarity is a plus (nice to have, not required)
  • Experience designing and scaling planning processes within global, omni‑channel environments
  • Excellent influencing, presentation, and executive communication skills
  • High attention to detail, data‑driven decision making, and strong problem‑solving skills
  • Ideal backgrounds: fashion, tech, or consumer goods
  • Successful track record of leading global, cross‑functional teams
  • Must have the right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
