Position Description:

The Senior Manager of Partner Success is a critical member of Ren’s Growth team, responsible for cultivating and managing the success of strategic partnerships with external wealth management firms, where success is described as rapidly accelerating growth and increasing engagement and satisfaction of firm decision makers and influencers.


The Senior Manager of Partner Success will focus on bringing a full suite of philanthropy offerings to the firm and augment the core wealth management offering, leveraging the Ren teams, technology, and support across a variety of charitable giving offerings- at no cost to the firm.


The role will lead the firm-level strategy for the business development team, collaborating closely with the charitable strategist team, the advisor partnership team, the product marketing team, and across the organization to ensure effective execution of the firm strategy. This role requires a dynamic individual with a partnership mindset, an ability to think strategically and leverage relationships to drive action, and a deep understanding of the industry landscape and Ren’s offerings.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, evaluates, and cultivates strategic partnerships with mid-market wealth management firms to drive growth in charitable giving.
  • Leverages concepts in standard firm activation playbook (resource provision, FA education, firm strategy alignment, stakeholder integration, etc.) to drive growth in the firms, appropriately adapting the playbook for the quantity and type of firms in the portfolio.
  • Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner firms, helping them tell the story of success and impact to clients of the firm clients and the firm’s business.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with internal teams to align and deploy resources as appropriate to the needs of each firm and the various priorities of our teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination between Ren teams and firm teams as needed.
  • Stays informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, using insights to build conviction around the relevance of charitable giving within home office team members and leadership.
  • Owns the full lifecycle of partner firms from onboarding to activation to advocacy, leading the relationship with ~20+ firms at one time, and developing and implementing the strategy of where and how to prioritize and activate different firms across the portfolio of relationships.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in the financial services industry with demonstrated experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic account management; exposure to philanthropic planning, donor-advised funds, or charitable giving is a strong plus
  • Experience with charitable giving strategies, philanthropic vehicles (e.g., donor advised funds, charitable trusts, private foundations), or wealth management philanthropy services is strongly preferred
  • Careful listener, strategic thinker, and creative problem solver with the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment and in partnership with others
  • Ability to think strategically while excelling in execution and detail management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity, excitement for learning by doing through experimentation and data-driven decision making
  • Purpose-driven, self-directed professional with a strong desire to learn and a passion for expanding positive impact in the world
  • Comfortable presenting recommendations, updates, and insights to senior leaders.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 5-10% of the time (e.g., 4-6 multi-day trips per year) high-visibility initiatives.
