About Hopscotch Primary Care

At Hopscotch Primary Care, we believe great healthcare should be accessible to all people across all communities.  Today, almost 20% of Americans live in a rural community, yet only 11% of physicians practice in those same communities.  We are on a mission to transform healthcare in rural America.  We provide high-quality primary care tailored to meet the needs of our patients through our robust care model and comprehensive care team, delivering care in our clinics, and across settings, and wrapping resources around the patients who need them most.

Our patients and the care teams who serve them sit at the center of everything we do at Hopscotch.  Hopscotch Primary Care takes a team approach to serve patient needs and provide the best care possible.  Our goal is to provide the care each of us would want for ourselves or for our family members, in the right setting, and at the right time.

Today, we are serving thousands of patients in our value-based care model and the number is growing every day.  If you want to bring your experience, skill and passion to make a lasting impact in healthcare, we’d like to meet you.

Note:  We are currently taking a thoughtful, measured approach to hiring and timelines may be extended. We appreciate your patience as we align hiring plans with broader business priorities.
About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Manager of Product Management to join Hopscotch Primary Care and advance our mission of transforming lives in rural communities through joyfulconnected care. This role is ideal for an owner-minded product leader who thrives in ambiguity, develops deep context across the healthcare ecosystem, and translates diverse perspectives into clear product strategy and outcomes. You’ll work cross-functionally to build thoughtful, data-informed solutions that improve care delivery at scale. If you’re excited to tackle complex healthcare challenges in a fast-moving startup environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
  • Own product strategy and outcomes. You will be accountable for measurable impact on clinical quality, patient experience, and business performance.
  • Track and interpret key trends in value-based care, healthcare policy, and market dynamics to inform product strategy and prioritization.
  • Translate company and care-model strategy into clear product vision, multi-quarter roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives.
  • Own stakeholder and user research, utilizing qualitative and quantitative insights to inform product decisions, pilots and product iterations.
  • Define and own success metrics (product, operational, and pilot KPIs) in partnership with analytics and stakeholders, using data to guide decisions post-launch.
  • Make and communicate tradeoff decisions, balancing user needs, business value, effort and scalability while aligning to company strategy.
  • Partner closely with engineering to explore solutions, collaborate in agile meetings, write technical specs and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across departments, creating clear, concise, and actionable materials to drive momentum and decision-making.
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively, both written and verbally, to audiences ranging from care team staff to executive leadership.
  • Coach and develop product managers, setting standards for strong product craft, execution, and ownership across the team.

About You:
  • Innately curious, inquisitive and outcome-driven with a passion for challenging the status quo and uncovering pragmatic, creative solutions in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Ownership-minded and comfortable operating in ambiguity; able to take full end-to-end accountability for complex problems and drive initiatives from discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • Strategic and business-oriented with the ability to define product strategy, articulate customer needs, scope solutions and clearly communicate financial opportunity, investment tradeoffs and timing.
  • Data-informed and decisive; confident making hard prioritization and tradeoff decisions using a mix of qualitative insights, quantitative data, KPIs and expected business impact.
  • Customer-centric and empathetic with strong product discipline around user research, workflow understanding and incorporating feedback into thoughtful, iterative solutions.
  • Technically fluent enough to translate business and clinical needs into viable solutions, partnering closely with engineering to evaluate feasibility, cost-benefit, and build vs. buy decisions.
  • Experienced leading complex, cross-functional initiatives; able to structure work, manage dependencies and maintain momentum amid frequent context switching.
  • A clear and compelling communicator; able to articulate the value of shipped work and upcoming roadmap items to audiences ranging from technical peers to executive leadership.
  • Collaborative and influential with demonstrated success partnering with engineering leadership and other stakeholders on large, high-impact initiatives.
  • Self-aware and resilient, able to recognize missteps, learn from execution failures and re-engage with confidence and a bias toward action.
  • Mission-driven with a genuine interest in U.S. healthcare; motivated to navigate complexity and improve how care is delivered and paid for.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in healthcare technology, strategy or policy is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require (~10%)

At Hopscotch Primary Care, we embrace diversity, invest in a culture of inclusion and positivity and encourage all to apply to join our team.  You will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
