The salary range for this role, based in Arizona, is $116,000.00 to $145,000.00. The range will vary if outside of this location.  Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Region Chains is responsible for driving commercial performance across key regional chain accounts in Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. This role supports the execution of national and regional strategies, ensuring alignment with distributor partners and internal stakeholders. The Senior Manager will lead sell-in and execution of programming, manage account relationships, and deliver results against volume, distribution, and promotional KPIs. This role reports to the Vice President, West Region Chains.

- Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Execute regional chain strategies to deliver volume, NNS, and category share growth across AZ, NV & CO.
  • Manage relationships with regional buyers, category managers, and key decision-makers within assigned chain retail accounts (e.g., grocery, drug, club, and liquor chains).
  • Partner with distributor teams to ensure effective sell-in and execution of national and regional programming.
  • Collaborate with National Accounts, Area and State Commercial Leads to translate national plans into local execution, including pricing, promotion, inventory, and POS/VAP support.
  • Monitor and analyze performance KPIs including distribution, pricing, shelf space, and promotional ROI; recommend adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Support development of annual operating plans (AOPs) and contribute to forecasting and performance tracking for assigned accounts.
  • Leverage syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI) and shopper insights to inform customer-specific programming and execution.
  • Facilitate customer reviews and performance routines to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Foster collaboration with Channel Marketing and internal stakeholders to support market-level needs.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, inclusivity, and performance excellence within the team and with partners.
  • Travel within AZ, NV & CO to support account management, distributor engagement, and execution (estimated 40%).

Key Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in beverage alcohol sales, with 3+ years focused on chain accounts.
  • Strong understanding of regional retail and distributor landscape in AZ, NV & CO.
  • Proven ability to manage account relationships and drive commercial execution.
  • Proficient in data analysis and insights tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with spirits and premium wine portfolios.
  • Familiarity with major chain accounts such as Ralphs, Albertson’s, Costco, Total Wine & More as well as regional liquor chains.
  • Distributor experience with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits or Republic National Distributing Company.
