Position Summary This is a production design/engineering position. This Employee will be designing HVAC systems for projects to support senior level Engineers/Project Managers. Future project management opportunities available if qualified/desired. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Independently works and cohesively blends into the Company workforce. Follows the company standards. Able to perform duties independently, without being supervised. Gets along with others. Excellent work ethic. Self-directed and motivated worker. Works even when the boss is not looking. Shows up on time and is willing to work as needed to finish the project within the time constraints as instructed. Able to self-manage workload schedule without supervision. 2D AutoCAD drawing. 3D Revit model drawing. Understands HVAC equipment selections such as AHU’s, Chillers, CV & VAV boxes, Pumps, Heat exchangers and can produce schedules for such. Chilled water, Hot water system design. Duct system design for Primary and Secondary systems. Field investigations Construction Administration. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Mechanical HVAC systems design and understanding of system application in Healthcare facilities. PE a plus, not required.. Healthcare experience a plus AutoCAD and/or Revit experience. Field knowledge required. Able to visit and walk existing project sites for renovation projects. Analyze existing conditions.
