About the Team

We’re looking for a Native Platform Engineer who will help us understand and integrate a wide range of external software systems into the Dandy platform. Many of these systems have incomplete, inconsistent, or outdated documentation, so success in this role requires curiosity, patience, and strong analytical thinking.

You will investigate how systems behave, map data and workflow patterns, and build clean, reliable interfaces that make real-world clinical workflows seamless. This work is hands-on, exploratory, and core to expanding the reach and usability of our platform.

Our stack: C++, C#, with bridges exposed to our Electron app (NodeJS, NestJS, React/Redux, PostgreSQL)


What You'll Do

  • Integrate bespoke systems with Dandy’s applications

  • Support native device functionality with abstracted APIs and bridges via gRPC

  • Improve upon, update and create additional system documentation

  • Proactively identify and prioritize improvements to the team’s processes, codebases, and best practices

  • Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, operability, and ongoing metrics


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer, preferably experience integrating with legacy, proprietary, or undocumented applications

  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems

  • You’re self-directed and can operate autonomously to deliver scaled impact

  • Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
